Lionel Messi will be available for Inter Miamiβs game against New England Revolution on Sunday night despite receiving his fifth yellow card of the MLS season, which would typically trigger a one-game suspension.
Ordinarily, five cautions would keep him out of his next game.
But for years, MLS has had a disciplinary provision that can reduce a playerβs yellow-card tally if he has gone a sustained period without one.
It is a rule that usually goes unnoticed, but given Messiβs stature, it has come to light again, and it has proven particularly useful for the player and Inter Miami as the MLS regular season comes to a close.

JUST IN: a Christian woman has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for converting a muslim adult to a Christian in Borno state
The Nigerian government, and Nigerians generally, need to start taking aesthetics a lot more seriously.
Look at the backdrop of the National Theatre. That beautiful lake, the bridge and the Blue Line running across it. It is such a stunning composition. It should be a defining visual of Lagos, an iconic postcard that people deliberately visit to photograph, much like the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
But you get there and the bushes around the lake are overgrown and there is litter everywhere.
Aesthetic is not frivolity. So many countries/cities have used aesthetic to create and attract massive economic opportunities.

Was just complaining about this to the driver that picked me up. Lagos looks so rough. Every where is so rough no single respite of softness. It is too bad
