There's been a lot of reporting on how CTU fared last night and very little reporting on how @SEIULocal73 @Driver4Change did. I've been guilty of this. SEIU won 7 (including Biggs) and lost 5, with one (Rivas) too close to call. 1/2

It sounds like you're saying the IDES count is too high a denominator, because it's counting jobs, not workers, and includes part-time as well. But wouldn't that mean that the tax applies to a far *higher* percentage of total full-time workers in Chicago? Which seems bad?

Monday am is first deadline for petitions for #ChiMayor27 and other city offices. Mayor candidates need 12,500 signatures from registered voters. Look for @Giannoulias to have nearly 60K signatures. Some may need more time and have one more week to get those signatures.
