If a believing and eligible couple is having sex and want to get married, marry them, and do it quickly. That is what God commands. The punishment for fornication is marriage. Better to marry than to burn. You have no right as a minister, much less as an effeminate hireling living off of the tithe, to fail to hold them accountable by joining them in marriage. Then do the counseling. Then continue to mentor. Of course, you are a young man and lack the experience. But that’s just what you get with hirelings.
With respect to the raging cohabitation debates on X right now: Please understand that as pastors we are constantly told by Christian couples that either: 1. They are not physically intimate at all despite living together or 2. They have been physically intimate but will just "sleep in separate rooms" and "stop that aspect of our relationship" while planning a wedding a year in advance. or 3. There is just no feasible way (economically etc.) that they can move out. #1 is typically a lie or a half truth dependent upon a very narrow definition of what constitutes sexual activity. Frankly, my initial reaction is: "I was not born yesterday." #2 is the kind of promise that a couple who has lived in a sinful state for a long time does not have the spiritual maturity or willpower to keep. It is not loving or kind to send an alcoholic to a bar because he promises he'll be sober. It is also not loving or kind to send a couple who has become totally enmeshed physically back into a common living situation without significant discipleship and guardrails. #3 is a trickier one, but my experience is this: I make an offer to help find a place for one or both individuals to stay. I assure the couple that someone in the church will likely make a room available etc. In 80-90% of cases, the couple declines the offer of help straight up. This makes it obvious that the economic excuse was just that: an excuse to justify their apparent apathy towards honoring God with their bodies. If we wink at these situations, we rightfully incur the disdain of (to use one example) LGBT individuals who then point out that we are using contradictory standards in the way we theologically and pastorally approach sexual sin. Either sexual activity outside of the marriage covenant is sin or it isn't. Our pastoral approach should be compassionate but firm as we remind people that they should honor God with their bodies precisely because they have been bought with a price. (1 Cor. 6:19-20)

That’s Wyoming. Everything is 120 miles away and there is absolutely nothing in between. Except for wind. There is wind everywhere.
We are in the absolute middle of nowhere in Wyoming. All of a sudden, everything is white and it’s snowing like crazy. We just drove for about an hour through complete darkness to get here. Not a single house or light along the road.

Yea. A rubber plane traveling at 17 miles per hour.
Ya something definitely isnt right. This computer imagery shows exactly how a plane would crash.

Nah. Not a prison at all. It’s even more beautiful because you can see the big picture—you can see past the temporal destruction and anticipate the opportunity to rebuild,
Not many want to talk about this, but once you become conscious, life stops being fun and turns into a prison Try listening to music The lyrics are manipulation. Try watching a movie. Everything is propaganda. Your brain instantly spots the hidden agenda of whoever paid for the story. Try going out to an event and everyone around you is laughing at things that aren’t funny. It’s like everyone is running the same programming. It’s a performance of insecurity held together by dopamine and ignorant confidence. Consciousness does not set you free. It isolates you. It disconnects you from the clown world everyone else is still pretending is normal.

Patriarchy existed to STOP OTHER MEN. You really think men invented patriarchy to hold YOU down? You are too weak, too fragile, too irrelevant for men to waste invention on you. Men invented patriarchy to protect their lands, food, money, resources, women and children FROM MEN. 500 years ago women didn't know what patriarchy was because it was SURVIVAL. No police. No 911. No guns. No cell phones. If a rival tribe wanted you, they killed your men, raped you, took your land, took your food, and married you off to their sons or kept you as maids, servants, and sex slaves. That was history. Patriarchy said: TOUCH HER AND YOU DIE. She belongs to this man, this family, this tribe. That was not oppression. That was a DEATH THREAT to other men to keep you safe. Pregnancy = 9 months useless. Breastfeeding mother can't run, can't fight, baby cries and brings wolves. Who hunted? MEN. Who fought bears? MEN. Who fought other men? MEN. Who built houses in snow? MEN. Who died in wars? 90% MEN. If men left women alone to be "independent" in 1500, you would have gone EXTINCT in one winter. No food. No fire. No protection. You are alive today because of patriarchy. Modern luxury - AC, Uber Eats, iPhone, birth control, police made yall RETARDED and ungrateful. You think world was always safe. You think animals don't hunt humans for food? Who stopped all these? Patriarchy. Men who built walls, laws, armies, civilization so you can sit on TikTok with fake eyelashes and say "patriachy oppress me." You are not oppressed. You are PROTECTED and too dumb to know it. Without patriarchy, you wouldn't be CEOs. You'd be extinct or a sex slave to the strongest man in your own village that’s been conquered by the enemy. Patriarchy is not why you are suffering. Patriarchy is why you are ALIVE to complain.
Patriarchy didn’t come from God it was written by men, edited by men, interpreted by men and enforced on women in God’s name.

Replying to @crechurches
@crechurches CREC pastor Michael Denna of Grand Junction, CO fell victim to a Ponzi scheme which cost him and his family a half a $million—unbeknownst to me. I questioned the timing of a salary increase which he gave himself while he had no session oversight—the final elder having left the church months earlier. Pastor Denna lied to me, saying the last elder had approved the raise. I immediately contacted that former-elder and was told that was a lie—that elder had approved no salary increase. And I was excommunicated for pressing the issue. I reached out to @douglaswils but never received a reply to my email. I had no idea that Pastor Denna and his family had just given away half a $million — otherwise I would have been more understanding. For me, this exposed the enormous power that a @crechurches CREC Pastor has to silence and get rid of a communicant member that dares to question him. I’d like to discuss the issue on a podcast—names named—if anyone in interested

Notice something here though: over 1,000 views, no one cares. That’s the problem with the CREC @crechurches — if it’s a pastor, no one sees anything.

This is the guy who convinced the Denna clan to hand over $500k. Link to the story: fox13news.com/news/tampa-res…

The lifetime promise lasted 2 years. Dumped them off in Cambodia. Another Ponzi scheme.
Passengers on an ‘endless’ world cruise have been told to leave residential ship Villa Vie Odyssey with all their belongings in Cambodia after the company said it was 'unable to secure the fuel necessary to continue operations'.

Melchizedek wasn’t a hireling. The tithe wasn’t going to him personally. The tithe today supports an abomination compared to the intended purpose of the tithe.
Melchizedek is why the tithing debate makes me suspicious. Abraham gave before Moses, before the Law, before the Temple. Yet Christians debate giving like tax attorneys hunting for a loophole. Maybe the issue was never “Do I have to?” Maybe it’s “Why am I so desperate not to?”

125k = high miles?
Scary as hell in my 2022 Model Y Performance this past week. Roughly 125k on the clock, no real issues until a light clicking noise showed up recently. Rolling into a parking lot entrance at Newport and Tustin, a massive bang hit like something detonated. Instant total blackout—screen dies, power steering vanishes, hazards won’t light, windows won’t budge, car goes completely unresponsive. Doing about 20-30 in a turn, the wheel turns into a fight. It keeps rolling straight across the crosswalk and misses a signal pole by inches. I wrestled it far enough to stop another 50-100 feet down. My 13-year-old was in the passenger seat losing it. Midday heat, stuck inside until I remembered the emergency release to get us out. A Tesla software update had just finished overnight and the screen confirmed it when I started the drive. Irvine Service said the small battery failed and needed swapping. But does a dead 12V really explain the explosive bang, the sudden total power cut while moving, and ending up dead in the middle of an intersection? Driver’s window was fine on the tow truck. By the time I picked up the loaner it was shattered. Still figuring out how and when that happened. Bought it new. High miles or not, nothing like this should show up with zero warning. Anyone else had a Model Y go completely dead on them while driving, especially after an update? Heard a loud bang right before the lights went out? What did Tesla actually say caused it and how was it fixed? We walked away fine. Could have gone way worse.

Tesla 12V battery failures commonly cause the vehicle to not wake up or lose accessories but typically occur when parked and give prior warnings rather than a sudden loud bang with total shutdown while driving. themotorguy.com/tesla-12v-batt… theevauthority.com/tesla-12v-batt…

Pretty sure Japan has tax a d registration policy which punishes people for keeping an older vehicle.
I asked an American friend how many years people usually keep their cars. “My car has 200,000 miles on it.” 200,000 miles?? Wait a minute. That’s about 320,000 kilometers?? In Japan, many people start thinking about replacing their cars once they pass 100,000 kilometers. But he said, “She still runs great!” How many times around the Earth are American cars planning to go? Americans, what’s the highest mileage you’ve ever had on a car? 🚗

The problem with SS is that eventually bread will cost $1,000
My "worry" for Social Security isn't that it will completely go away. It's that they'll eventually stop giving it to anyone with sufficient savings of their own.

If I do end up coming to your door with my crew and you don’t hand over your weapons peacefully, it will not end well for you. I can promise you that much brother.

That will work at the first door, maybe the second. By the time you get to the third door, we will have re-armed house #1 and #2, rounded up a righteous militia and will all be waiting for you at house #3 with bells on. Then we will ask one question that you will answer with your dying breath— “who sent you?” And then we will hunt all of the chain of command until none are left. And then we will go have a steak dinner and beers, on you and your crew. Thank you. Thank you very much.

Property taxes didn’t just “get raised.” You have been voting for higher taxes your whole life.
Imagine reaching 65, your kids are grown, you helped them get started and you kept a paid-off house so you could live comfortably on your pension Then property taxes get raised and you can no longer afford to stay in your own home Problems are rarely solved by raising taxes.. The real solution is simple: significantly increase housing supply so it exceeds demand and let the market correct itself

This is why you own nothing to your name for 5 years before you die. You will lose anything in your name.
My coworker's mother passed away last November. She left her modest $190,000 house to him clear and free, no mortgage, completely paid off after thirty years of factory work. He moved into the home in January to finally settle the estate. Two weeks ago, a letter arrived from the state Medicaid estate recovery office. Because his mother spent four months in a rehabilitation facility before she passed, the state quietly slapped a retroactive $114,000 lien against the property title. He called the state health department, frantic, asking how a hospital stay could bankrupt an inherited home that had no mortgage balance. The caseworker sighed and told him: "Federal law requires state programs to claw back healthcare costs from deceased estates. The house cannot be sold or transferred until the balance is cleared in full." He offered to pay a monthly settlement. They said no. The full $114,000 is due in 60 days, or they foreclose on the property at a public auction. A lifetime of working-class savings, wiped out overnight by a retroactive healthcare lien. You don't own generational wealth. You're just holding a property title until the state finds a legal mechanism to repossess it the moment you die.
