To my American friends.
When I say:
• "Yanks" = US imperialists
• "muriKKKans" = racists
• "Americans" = Americans

As Russell Brand is today facing a lengthy prison term for rape, we should reflect that he isn’t all bad. Let us not forget that he helped to get fat tongued, talent vacuum; Jonathan Ross, sacked from the BBC 👍

Remembering the grotesque #JonathanRoss #RussellBrand phone call: “he’s probably got a picture of his grandchildren when they were young & innocent by the phone so while he is listening he’s looking at a picture of her when she was about nine on a swing.”

She is the story of Palestine’s tragedy.
Israel burned her body, imprisoned her, deprived her of her freedom, and subjected her to beatings and abuse in prison.
She is Israa Jaabis…..
The Palestinian woman whose body they tried to break, but whose dignity they could never take away.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Israa Jaabis was severely burned after detonating a car bomb at a police stop near Maale Adumim, Israel in 2015, which also severely injured an Israeli policeman. Convicted of attempted murder, she served 8 years in prison before being released in a hostage deal in 2023.

Putin is the new Hitler.
He is trying to construct a Third Russian Empire, just as Hitler tried to construct a Third Reich.
It won't wash.
Putin is destroying Russia
Unless the Russian people stand up and overthrow him, Russia will disintegrate.

Just waiting for Israel to claim that helping these people would be "antisemitic" and "hateful to Jews".
Zionists want this to happen because they can blame a god that they don't even believe in.

10 years for foreign collusion, and Western media still calls him a "pro-democracy activist".
Let's call it what it was. Lobbying foreign governments to sanction his own city. Working with foreign powers to bring down the Hong Kong government. He pleaded guilty.
Every Western country has a law for that. They just don't call it "activism" when it happens at home.
What treason or foreign collusion gets you in the countries lecturing Hong Kong ...
USA, 5 years to life or death. UK, up to life. Canada, mandatory life. Australia, up to life. Germany, life or at least 10 years. France, up to life. Netherlands, up to 30 years or life. Sweden, 10 to 18 years or life. New Zealand, life. Japan, the death penalty.
Imagine an American activist flying to Beijing and Moscow, asking them to sanction Washington and back an uprising. Hero ? He'd be lucky to ever see daylight again.
Judged in the West, Joshua Wong would be facing far worse.
Hong Kong/China did what every sovereign entity does. It protected itself.
The problem was never the national security law.
The West only likes these laws when they're its own.

I disagree with your point of view. Neither the Uyghurs nor the Kazakhs are Turkic peoples; it is simply that, over the course of their historical development, their languages have incorporated some Turkic vocabulary.
None of us wish to have any connection to the Turkic peoples.

Joshua Wong off lightly. Had this useful idiot done the same in the US or UK, he would have been sentenced to life imprisonment.
🇨🇳🇭🇰 The West calls Joshua Wong a hero: However, he pleaded guilty to begging foreign sanctions
This was never about free speech.
On the 5th of November, Hong Kong’s High Court sentenced former Demosisto secretary-general Joshua Wong to 10 years under the National Security Law.
He had already pleaded guilty to conspiracy to collude with foreign forces.
Judge Tam Yiu-ho called the offence “grave”.
He said Wong and exiled activist Nathan Law were the two ring-leaders who lobbied foreign governments for sanctions, blockades and other hostile measures against China and Hong Kong after the 2019 riots.
The starting point was 13 years. Three years came off for the guilty plea. Only two months and two days run concurrently with the sentence he is already serving.
That earlier term was four years and eight months, handed down on the 19th of November 2024 for conspiracy to subvert state power. He was charged with foreign collusion in June 2025 while still in prison.
Fourteen Chinese and Hong Kong officials remain on foreign sanctions lists. The United States cancelled Hong Kong’s special trade status. The judge said the harm is “still subsisting”.
BBC calls him a “democracy movement leader”. Reuters calls him an “international representative”. Kenneth Roth calls the case a “farce”.
None of this happened by accident.
Wong asked foreign powers to punish his own city. In most countries, that is a serious crime. The West only objects when China and Hong Kong enforce it.
Wong did the wrong thing, he admitted it and the court applied the law. A more stable Hong Kong is the good that followed.
So when Western politicians scream “political prisoner”, ask them this: would your country free someone who begged a rival power to sanction you?
