where we’re at: the world is being held in check by a conflict with unquantifiable vertical economic and geopolitical ramifications, and both sides can be summed up with a Monty Python gif

in *her* campaign?
"This is about Abdul getting angrier and angrier, saying I don't want these people in my campaign," @HaleyforMI says.
@andersoncooper is pressing her on what changed between talking to @RepDebDingell around midnight last night (purportedly saying she wouldn't endorse Rogers) and then waking up this morning endorsing Rogers.

There’s nothing “gutsy” about endorsing someone you told everyone you were working to defeat up to just a day ago.
Nothing about either candidate has changed. El-Sayed is not worse—and Rogers is not better—than a week ago, a month ago, or a year ago.
It’s either a long con, an intemperate decision, or a disconnect from reality.

in fairness, Tyler Loop may not actually be a Raven tomorrow
The @Ravens were 3-1 when some of their players chose to meet with Trump. They’re 1-3 since and rank last in their division.

Haley Stevens told a longtime friend Saturday evening that she planned to attend a church service the next day w/ Abdul El-Sayed. She even texted the friend, a senior Democrat, the church’s address.

predictable. still funny.
Exclusive: Abdul El-Sayed’s campaign says it has raised $1.2 million in the four hours and counting after former primary rival Rep. Haley Stevens backed Republican Mike Rogersin the final messy days of the Michigan Senate race.
That marks his second-best fundraising day since winning the nomination in August.

The story here is that at a dinner Stevens and her fiancé had with the former Dem Gov of Michigan two nights ago, her fiancé was, according to the former governor, kind of bullying her about having endorsed AES. To the point that the former governor stepped in to defend her. If this was happening at a dinner with an acquaintance, at best, you can imagine what must have been going on behind the scenes.

I talked to former Gov. Jim Blanchard about an hour ago. He had a unique view of Stevens' last 48 hours, having had dinner with her and her fiance, Jason Turkish, on Friday. You want the details? Here they are, and, trust me, you're going to want to read.

Ashley Moody NEVER walked the line with you @TeamsterSOB. But ok brother. Shout out to all the rank & file Teamsters that are voting for me. I will ALWAYS STAND WITH YOU!
Teamsters General President Sean O’Brien here. Just voted in the State of Florida for the first time, and very proud to have cast a ballot for @SenAshleyMoody. Sen. Moody has been extremely helpful working with the Teamsters to protect workers’ pensions, defend good-paying jobs, and support well-funded union apprenticeship programs. The Teamsters look forward to working with Sen. Moody in her role on the Senate HELP Committee to pass the Faster Labor Contracts Act and get this critical legislation signed into law to protect American workers.

this is one of the saddest attempts at being “edgy” that star wars fandom has ever seen, and that’s really saying something
