“Peter Obi ruled Anambra State for eight years and did very well. He is contesting for president again, and every part of Nigeria is supporting him. Igbo people cannot be an exception. We will not forsake our son.” — Senator Victor Umeh. Senator Umeh made the statement while speaking at the Igbo Nation and Customs (INC) Anambra State Summit. He further said it would be unfortunate if the people of the South-East failed to deliver more votes for Peter Obi than other regions, despite millions of Nigerians across the country expressing support for him. He urged the people to come out in large numbers and vote for Obi in 2027, delivering more votes than they did in the 2023 presidential election.

In the poverty capital of the world 🤣😀
The question we should be asking is: What exactly are they celebrating and admiring in this comparison? We saw this picture being circulated by people who admire these men of God, and apparently, these are the things they consider worth celebrating about their ministries. Look at the comparison: age, years in ministry, number of church branches, estimated net worth, headquarters, auditorium capacity and the kinds of cars they reportedly own. But I have a question: Is this what ministry has become? A competition of wealth, buildings, branches and material possessions? When did we reduce the work of the ministry to statistics and material achievements? When did the size of an auditorium become a measure of the quality of a minister's teaching? When did the number of church branches become proof of how accurately someone communicates the gospel? The assignment of a minister is not to build the biggest auditorium, acquire the most expensive cars or accumulate the greatest wealth. The assignment is to preach Christ and make the message of His finished work known. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2:2: "For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified." Jesus never instructed His disciples to compete over who would build the biggest ministry. Rather, He commissioned them to preach the gospel. Even Paul asked in 1 Corinthians 4:2 that stewards be found faithful. My concern is this: What exactly are we teaching the next generation of ministers to admire? Are we raising people who admire ministers because of their revelation of Christ, soundness in doctrine, faithfulness to the gospel and commitment to teaching the truth, or people who admire them because of their wealth, private jets, expensive cars and auditorium capacity? Ministry is not a competition. The gospel is not a business rivalry. And the success of the gospel cannot be measured by the material possessions of the preacher. Let us return to the message that matters: CHRIST, HIS DEATH, HIS BURIAL AND HIS RESURRECTION! One more thing: even the financial figures presented in this graphic are described as estimates, not officially confirmed facts. They should not be treated as verified financial records. DELTA STATE IN 2026: GOVERNMENT HOUSE IS OCCUPIED, BUT WHERE IS GOVERNANCE? It is disgraceful that in 2026, entire communities in an oil-producing state like Delta are still struggling to access something as basic as electricity. Let us be clear: We are not demanding 24-hour electricity or uninterrupted power supply. We are simply talking about communities having the opportunity to see NEPA light once in a while! Look at the situation across the state: - ISOKO NATION: Residents have been protesting for days over prolonged power outages. Entire communities remain in darkness. - NDOKWA NATION: Communities are still battling the absence of electricity. - AYAKOROMO AND NEIGHBOURING COMMUNITIES: Residents have endured decades without electricity. Think about the humiliation. In a state blessed with oil wealth and substantial public revenues, people are still struggling with basic amenities that should be the starting point of development. Beyond electricity, communities are battling poor roads, inadequate healthcare, unsafe drinking water and inadequate security. What exactly is the development story of the @RtHonSheriff administration? Where is the impact of government spending in the daily lives of ordinary Deltans? What tangible improvement can a struggling family point to and say, "This is what governance has done for us"? The greatest indictment of any government is not the number of political speeches it delivers, but the living conditions of the people it governs. And while communities are protesting and crying out for basic amenities, the Governor has abandoned governance and pursuing another four-year mandate. A second term must be discussed alongside the record of the first. What has been delivered? Which neglected communities have been transformed? How many families now enjoy basic services they previously lacked?

Edo State has the worst transportation system in South South, also the rudest and most disrespectful drivers. A trip that costs ₦1,000 in Delta State costs over ₦4,000 in Edo with arguments and headaches. Honestly, Edo State should be carved out of South South.

URGENT PUBLIC APPEAL I never imagined having to make a post like this, but I desperately need your help. On October 31, while covering a wedding at Oriental Hotel, Lagos, my bag was stolen from inside the bride's room. The bag contained my MacBook Pro M1 and FOUR external hard drives holding approximately FIVE weddings yet to be delivered to my clients. These are not just files. They are people's once in a lifetime memories, months of hard work and my livelihood. Thankfully, we have obtained CCTV footage showing the individual entering, taking my bag and leaving the hotel. I'm offering a N500,000 REWARD for credible information leading to the identification of this individual and recovery of my belongings through the appropriate authorities. Please you can send a message or call this number for any update 09033892670 Please guys help me repost abeg, this is very important please. 🙏🏾

PRESS RELEASE November 5, 2026 ONE WEEK, NEW LOAN, NIGERIANS SHOULD VOTE MASSIVELY FOR OBI/KWANKWASO TICKET IN 2027 SAYS NDC The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has called on Nigerians to turn out in massive numbers in the 2027 elections and use their votes to demand accountability, fiscal responsibility and a government that puts the people’s interests first. The party says the country’s growing debt burden, in light of new loan requests by President Bola Tinubu, and the obligations being passed on to future generations make this election too important for citizens to sit out. President Bola Tinubu has again asked the National Assembly to approve a new external borrowing plan of $7.7 billion (approximately ₦10.79 trillion) to help finance the 2026 budget deficit, making this a case of one week, new loan. Spokesperson of NDC National Campaign Council, Dr Constance Ikokwu, told journalists that the party’s passionate appeal to Nigerians is to turn out massively and vote for Mr. Peter Obi and Eng. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso on January 16, 2027, just as Americans demonstrated the power of the ballot in their November 4, 2026 elections. She observed that Americans, like Nigerians, are grappling with the high cost of living and economic hardship. Rather than merely grumbling or resigning themselves to their circumstances, she said, Americans turned out to exercise their democratic rights, demonstrating that the power to change government ultimately rests with the electorate. Dr Ikokwu therefore urged Nigerians to emulate Americans, whom she described as champions of democratic participation, by coming out in their millions to vote for Obi and Kwankwaso. Dr Ikokwu said: “Truly, it seems that right now, we cannot stop President Tinubu from his One Week! New Loan! One Week! New Loan! borrowing spree, which is already hitting the roof, because, regrettably, he has pocketed the National Assembly. We seem to have a rubber-stamp legislature that before a loan request formally gets to its desk, it has already been endorsed. “But Nigerians should not despair. The ballot remains our most powerful instrument of change. We appeal to citizens to use their votes to rescue the country from this debt trap and entrust its future to a government committed to transparency, accountability and prudent management of public resources.” The NDC reiterated that the country’s economic future must not be mortgaged by unsustainable borrowing and the mismanagement of public resources. Signed Dr. Chiogo Constance Ikokwu Spokesperson, National Presidential Campaign Council
