The “climate crisis” is the biggest scam in scientific history.
Not one doomsday prediction has come true in the last 40 years.
There has been little increase in the vast majority of extreme weather phenomena.
Tropical cyclone frequency and intensity have not increased since 1980 or 1900 globally.
Tornadoes have not increased in the U.S. since 1954. The increase in tornado outbreaks is largely an artifact of better detection from the advent of the WSR-88D radar in the late 1980s / early 1990s. Since 1990, there has been little change in tornado outbreak occurrence.
Despite predictions of larger hailstones, there has been no statistically significant increase in severe or very large hail reports since 2000 in the U.S.
River flooding has not increased globally since at least 1961. There are just regional and local increases and decreases within the bounds of internal variability.
Cold waves have decreased since 1900 virtually everywhere in the Northern Hemisphere, and especially since 1990.
Meteorological droughts have not increased in frequency or intensity since 1950 globally, or in the U.S. and Canada since the late 19th century.
Only heatwaves and heavy rainfall events have increased since 1950, and those increases are largely regional. Heatwaves have not increased since 1900 in either the U.S. or Canada, and there is evidence that heatwaves in Australia were worse than recent years prior to 1910.
Increases in hydrological and agricultural droughts are primarily due to poor water resource management and land use change. Obviously, that can be an issue, but it’s perfectly manageable.
Global wildfire burn area has decreased by over 90% since 1900, mostly due to fire suppression. But even since the early 2000s, it has continued to decrease. Forest fire burn area has not increased since at least 2002. Increases in, say, the western U.S., are primarily because of poor forest management.
Great Barrier Reef coral cover has made a significant recovery in recent years, even being at a record high in 2024.
Arctic sea ice extent / volume have not changed much since 2007, despite predictions that the Arctic Ocean would be “ice-free” by 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 (that was even in a peer-reviewed study), 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020.
Climate models in the CMIP5 and CMIP6 suites have warmed the bulk atmosphere twice as much as real observations from NASA satellite data (from UAH and NOAA STAR) show.
In 1985, the EPA predicted that global mean sea level would rise 26.2–39.3 cm (10.3–15.5”) by 2025. Satellites, however, estimate that sea level only by ~11.8 cm (4.6”) over that time. They were off by more than a factor of two.
In 2006, Al Gore said that there would be no more snowfalls on top of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania by 2016. But as it turns out, it still snows there.
The 2001 IPCC report predicted that we would see a decrease in heavy snowstorms in the mid-latitudes. That did not happen, and some scientists now claim we’ll see more.
And in general, apart from the cumulative inflation crisis, the quality of life on Earth has never been better.
Global average life expectancy has more than doubled on every inhabited continent since 1850.
The number of people living in poverty is at an all-time record low.
The number of people malnourished is at an all-time record low.
Global crop production and yields are at all-time record highs.
Total deaths from extreme weather or weather-related phenomena have decreased by 96.2% since 1920 despite worldwide population increasing by over six billion persons since then.
Our ability to adapt outweighs any kind of adversities Mother Nature may throw at us.
The only person full of it is you. 🫵

Dear @SenRickScott and @AshleyMoodyFL .....DO NOT under any circumstances vote for John Thune to stay as the minority leader of the Senate.
We Floridians WILL NOT tolerate betrayal by either one of you. You need to wait until the new Senate is sworn in in January. Thune is the head saboteur who along with every other RINO is the Senate who are responsible for the massive loss of your party last Tuesday.
The American people are FED UP.
Why haven't the following Senators signed Ron Johnson's letter to POSTPONE Senate elections?
They all must be FAKE MAGA.
@Eric_Schmitt
@MarshaBlackburn
@HawleyMO
@SenAshleyMoody
@SenKatieBritt
@SenTedCruz
Five Senators signatures are needed to postpone leadership elections in the Senate.
This is our ONLY chance to STOP John Thune from being elected as leader again.
Sen. Ron Johnson has been BEGGING all day and so far only FOUR have signed.
• Ron Johnson (WI)
• Mike Lee (UT)
• Rick Scott (FL)
• John Kennedy (LA)
It makes me PHYSICALLY SICK that five Senators don't have the balls to stand up to Thune FOR AMERICA.
We are actually DOOMED.

Seriously @NYPDnews what are these officers doing here? Because it looks they're physically trying to take her dog and threatening to arrest her. When did it become illegal to walk your dog in NY? @FBI @Kash_Patel
Two Muslim cops in New York stopped a nurse for no apparent reason other than that she was walking her dog.
They cornered her and threatened to seize her dog. When confronted, they got angry and couldn’t say what law she had broken.
This is what happens when you give these people power. All I can say is that she was lucky there were passersby, because it was 3 AM and things could’ve ended much worse.

My two senators in Florida had better sign to postpone the vote for minority leader AFTER the new Senate is sworn in on January 3rd.
WHY HAVEN'T EITHER ONE OF YOU SIGNED Ron Johnson's petition?
We are watching you @SenAshleyMoody and @SenRickScott .

The first thing Mike Johnson and John Thune should do after Congress re-convenes Monday
Is step down...
Put Brandon Gill as Speaker and Mike Lee as Senate leader and get Trumps agenda passed
Change the rules to get everything done, then change them back... time to go nuclear

The “uni-party” in DC is really only a uni-party on two issues:
1. War everywhere all the time.
2. Unending importation of foreigners.
TRILLIONS of dollars are reliant on those two things never changing. Understand that and you’ll understand a lot of what you see.

Yes.
There’s no reason to move forward with leadership elections, especially after the colossal failure to 1) pass legislation & 2) maintain the majority.

I like both men. I'm adult enough to handle that Vance was publicly addressing the undeniable reality of the GOP wipeout, caused by deep national frustration with a war and its resulting spikes on gas prices and other costs, while Rubio was talking to a tiny group of people at a fancy gathering who desperately need to be comforted following that shellacking.
It's unfair to compare the two sets of remarks. If they switched their audiences and roles, they might say something similar as the other one did. That's just politics.
HOWEVER, the less people care about whether either one of these guys will win the (likely way beyond Pyrrhic) nomination that they may or may not seek of a party in crisis thanks to the failures of its leadership across all branches of government, the better the party can fix the problems that brought it to this point and the better the party can work to repair the harm done. Otherwise, it doesn't really matter who gets the nomination!
Now I know that it's absolutely true that many older GOP voters fully support the war and fully support Trump's decision to do what he did. And most diehard GOP voters in other age groups would continue voting GOP even if they were less enthusiastic about the war. We see a lot of representation of the first group in particular in the media.
I know it's unpopular to say so, but these groups comprise a dramatically shrinking minority of voters that is unable to deliver election wins. Fully 65% of the country opposes the war. It's not a winning issue. Prosecuting it resulted in serious electoral costs -- largely due to the increased gas prices but also because of the sense that the Trump administration was not focused enough on domestic crises requiring major work. You may wish it were otherwise. I'm sure you do. But the reality is that this war has never been popular and has gotten less so. Thoughtful people should care far more about the very real concerns of the recent GOP voters who left or gave up and not just the ones who don't leave.
So you can pick the person who most aligns with your particular views on the war all you want! Donors and special interests can get behind whichever person they want and maybe they even have the power to get him the nomination! They frequently do! But it's a very, very, very, VERY long road between picking that nominee and returning the Republican Party to any semblance of power.
I'd care less about the fight over who gets nominated and much more about building a winning coalition going forward.
Also, as someone who genuinely likes Rubio, I think his vocal supporters may be hurting him by positioning him as a huge fan of the war. For whatever it's worth.
