Hey, if we wanna talk racial casting controversy, Edward Albee’s estate as recently as 2017 was denying the rights to his shows on the basis of the casting of black actors. Unlike the Oscar thing this is actually bad.

I dunno man, I grew up in theater and have discussed the complexities of casting a thousand times and I don't think you're really wrestling with the realities so much as tribal virtue signaling about radical open mindedness towards casting, which obscures parts of the debate.
