Three schoolboys, just 12, 13 and 14, acted heroically by stopping to help a stranger in distress on their way home.
Shawn Young, Devonte Cafferkey and Sammy Farah were walking home from St Maryโs High School in Cheshunt when they spotted a man in distress on an overpass in Waltham Cross.
Devonte and Sammy grabbed the manโs arms as he edged towards the edge. Shawn shouted for help and waved at passing motorists.
Two passersby quickly rushed over to help hold the man until emergency services arrived. Later, the boys were honoured by the Royal Humane Society for their bravery.
As Devonte put it: "We could not have lived with ourselves if we had kept walking."

Cancelled my @DailyMail subscription yesterday. Great pleasure in informing them why. They offered me a cut price if I stayed. Said no as it's a matter of principle. Now blocked them. Won't affect them but I'll sleep better. Unlike the 10 jurors who convicted him.

In CID my DCI said my scoop neckline wasnโt appropriate. I'm a real woman with real boobs. Someone had complained, so I had to buy more clothes. ๐ท ๐ฐ
I canโt help having big breasts, but I was admonished all the same.

Yesterday I was talking with an economist. A genuinely sharp guy.
We ended up agreeing on a conclusion that isn't comfortable: Europe and the West are down to two scenarios.
Scenario one: communism gets defeated within the next 5 years. We finally do what has to be done on immigration and on the economy. It will be hard, really hard. But better a horrible ending than horror without end.
Scenario two: communism wins. And right behind it, most likely, Islamic tyranny. Not in 50 years. Soon after.
There is no in-between. No "it'll sort itself out," no lukewarm third way where everyone keeps their little comfort zone.
What fascinates me is that the vast majority of people don't see this at all. They're living through this period as if it were just another political cycle.
But there's good news. The people who've been sounding the alarm for 20 years were right. They were called crazy, doomers, prophets of decline. And every month, reality proves them a little more right.
The faster people realize this, the further ahead we get.
Waking up is already half the battle.

Listening to Liz Truss on @TalkTV where she says Boris Johnson was so afraid that, after Brexit, hundreds of thousands of Eastern Europeans would go home, leaving the UK with a massive skills shortage. So he thought he'd fill the shortage in skills with Middle Easterners and Africans, hence the Boris Wave.
Further, the top dogs at the Bank of England are full of socialists. They thought Liz and Kwasi were too right wing so threatened the whips to get rid of them or they'd do damage to the economy by, inter alia, hefting interest rates up.
And finally Liz Truss says despite Kemi's tough stance, the Conservative Party is still full of MPs who are more concerned with their standing on the liberal London dinner party circuit than they are about the Tory members.
They still are Conservative in name only, I'm afraid.

I'll wear a poppy to remember their sacrifice, but we're living in times where we can actually see how successive government's have betrayed those who made the sacrifices at every opportunity they've had.
so no i wont make the same mistake of letting them send me to die abroad.

It says NOTHING about patriotism. It is a long-established symbol of our respect for and memory of those who gave their lives in wars. It is not patriotic to wear a poppy nor unpatriotic not to.

๐จ JUST IN: Legal expert Jonathan Turley says the MARY PELTOLA'S LAWYERS might now have to LAWYER UP after they were reportedly complicit in the scheme to plant a fraud Dan Sullivan on the ballot
YIKES!!
"This is quickly becoming a serious scandal for Peltola and her campaign, her lawyers and others...You have what are clearly false statements that some have made, according to the New York Times, and all of those people are going to have to lawyer up, including the lawyers!"
"I mean, at this point, I think Peltola's lawyers, those campaign lawyers who allegedly played a role in this, have to remove themselves. They are now potential targets or witnesses!"
Gov. Dunleavy has already ordered Alaska's Department of Public Safety to investigate whether criminal charges or civil action are warranted
When the lawyers need lawyers, you know it's bad. Peltola has a LOT of explaining to do and I'm not sure there's much she can say to get out of it!
The right thing to do is also REMOVE THE FRAUD FROM THE BALLOT.

Bonnie is doing much better than her brother Clyde and today she was well enough to go out and about. We took them in last week from 2 kind ladies who saved them from a horrible situation of neglect. Itโs hard to believe that these gentle golden retrievers were ever treated like this. They donโt have a bad bone in their bodies.
Sadly her brother passed before we knew about them and Clyde is still very ill and needs a big operation next week. Bonnie is poorly herself but she is keeping up the spirits and we hope to help her back to full health. She has also clearly been used for breeding.
Today was the first day where I really saw her coming alive as a golden retriever. She was craving attention, loving her food, and her tail just could not stop wagging. To the many hundreds of people who've messaged me saying she reminds them of Tina, I have to say I fully agree.
Still an incredibly sad situation that the brother is gone and another one is so critically ill, but today we have hope and that's all we could ask for. Older followers will probably recognize the bandana that has helped Tina, Shack, Mr. Big, Hank, and many other dogs in their recovery. Hard to believe but it is still the very same one and I also wore it on my book tour all around the world. Bonnie and Clyde have the whole world rooting for them โค๏ธ๐ค

These are the two @DailyMail journalists that went after Tommy Robinson @TRobinsonNewEra, Jacob Dirnhuber on the left & Andrew Young. If would be good to know there was no collusion between the Daily Mail & the state, I have this nagging feeling.
The Establishment have gone after him on what can only be described as trumped up charges. I was in court & the jury looked suspect as well.
The newspaper & the govt has just made people more angry, one high profile murder case or a terrorist outrage & people may lose the plot.

A constituent pulling out his own tooth because he couldn't get help. That shouldn't happen in Britain.
Rupert's plan trains more British dentists, gives free training to those who serve NHS patients for ten years, and brings practices back to towns and villages. @RupertLowe10
xitter.gq/RupertLowe10/status/21โฆ
Dentistry access across Britain is a total mess - I had a constituent who pulled his own tooth out because of the pain. We need to get a grip, yet nobody is talking about it.
What will a Restore Britain Government do?
1. Train more British dentists.
Expand dental school places and provide bursaries for British students who commit to serving areas most affected by shortages. Build more dental schools, all over Britain.
Increase training places for dental nurses, hygienists, therapists and technicians.
Importantly - we will offer financial incentives for emigrated British dentists and qualified professionals to return to Britain.
2. Free dental training for British students.
We will provide fully funded dental education and training for British citizens who commit to serving NHS patients in Britain for a minimum of ten years after qualifying. (More professions will be included in this policy, details to come soon).
Those who fulfil their commitment will have their tuition fees covered in full. Those who leave early or choose not to fulfil their service commitment will be required to repay a proportionate amount.
The first two points are quite straightforward - we will invest in our own people.
3. Only British citizens for NHS dentistry.
Overhaul eligibility rules so routine NHS-funded dentistry is only given to British citizens.
We will end access to routine NHS-funded dental treatment for foreign nationals.
If foreign nationals want dental care in Britain, they can pay for it UP FRONT - urgent or otherwise.
4. Reform HC2 certificates and low income schemes
We will review the NHS Low Income Scheme, including HC2 certificates, to ensure that entitlement to free NHS dental treatment is properly verified - no foreign national will have access.
5. End ALL routine NHS-funded dentistry for illegal migrants.
Under Restore Britain's proposed rules, โasylum seekersโ will not qualify for routine NHS-funded dental care because they are receiving asylum support or hold an HC2 certificate.
In 25/26, 201,123 of these certificates were issued to โasylum seekersโ. It is INSANE.
They will not receive dental care, they will be deported.
6. Bring dentists back to towns and villages
We will provide targeted start-up loans and grants for independent practices opening in areas with severe shortages - offer total business rates relief to qualifying practices.
7. Reward dentists who serve underserved communities
Offer financial incentives and student loan repayment support to dentists who commit to several years of NHS work in shortage areas.
The five golden rules of business - whatโs in it for me? If we want to help these communities, it will cost.
We will encourage experienced dentists to remain in NHS practice through flexible contracts and reduced bureaucracy.
All alongside financial incentives to bring retired dentists back into the profession.
8. Guarantee urgent dental access.
We will expand urgent dental services, including evenings and weekends. 24/7/365 access. Do it round the clock. It will cost. Itโs worth it. Clear the backlog. Allowed qualified professionals to do more, freeing up the time of fully trained dentists to complete more complex work.
Introduce a target for clinically urgent patients to receive appropriate assessment or treatment within 24 hours.
9. Restore rural dentistry.
We will invest in mobile dental clinics, satellite surgeries and part-time services in communities where permanent provision is difficult for whatever reason. As stated, we will provide targeted recruitment and equipment support for practices serving rural areas.
We will not forget rural Britain.
10. Prioritise children.
Restore Britain will guarantee to improve early access to treatment, especially urgent, and reduce avoidable hospital admissions. We will put British children first.
A full Restore Britain policy paper will come, but here is the basis of our plan.
Nobody will be pulling their own teeth out under a Restore Britain Government.
