So much for democracy
What happens if no one reaches 61 seats? The President of Israel gives the parties 28 days to reach 61 by forming coalitions with other parties. Whoever reaches 61 wins, and if again no one can reach 61 through coalition, elections will be held again

Holy copium. The melt down he’ll have next week will probably be even funnier
This morning into the afternoon, the so-called Israeli experts and commentators were essentially writing off Netanyahu, Likud, and his coalition.  They were dead wrong, as the right rallied big-time, at Netanyahu's urging and those of other party leaders.  Any way you slice it, Likud remains the biggest party.  The Arabs won nothing as it is suicidal for those radical parties to be brought into any government.  I suppose you never know with the opposition and Eisenkot.  That said, they turned out in large numbers and damaged parties Eisenkot was relying on to build a government.  In other words, it backfired on the opposition.   By the way, I posted earlier the Channel 14 chart because it has been the most accurate over the last few election cycles.

Yes. They can either leave if they don’t want to be in a Palestinian state or they can accept it.
If Palestinians choose to finally accept statehood, will 500,000 Jews living in the West Bank have the right to vote in a Palestinian state?

So despite being subjugated to Israeli military law, they aren’t citizens. Thank you for explaining apartheid.
If you hold Israeli citizenship, you have the right to vote in Israeli elections. It's really as simple as that.

“Arab-led parties (take that "apartheid"): 17 seats. These parties also oppose Netanyahu but are counted separately because they are not part of the main Zionist opposition bloc.” You stupid troglodyte.

What declaration of duty? His duty was to literally terrorize the Palestinians in the West Bank and support terrorist settlers. That’s literally his job and why he was given that position.
By the way, I'm guessing the supercharged Israeli Arab turnout isn't because of Bibi. It's because of Ben-Gvir. His dereliction of duty in enforcing basic policing and safety standards in Arab towns has created a surge in murders, criminality, and general distrust.

You don’t even have to ask this. We literally saw what happened in the 2019-2022 elections. The 2021 election literally resulted in having duel prime ministers with Netanyahu being prime minister in the first half of the government because Gantz was too racist to form a government with the Arabs. Again, there is no such thing as an opposition in Israel.
My question is why that criticism wasn’t heard throughout the campaign. Not at the right-wing bloc, but at Lieberman, Bennett and Lapid, and at Gadi Eisenkot, who explained that there’s the Zionist bloc, and then there are those who might support it from outside. We can all agree on one thing: if this exit poll holds, 70 MKs ran on saying no to Netanyahu and his coalition. That’s not up for debate. By the same token, let’s respect the fact that somewhere between 70 and 90 MKs promised not to sit with the Arab parties. Even without counting Yashar, there are 70 MKs against that partnership. So which election promise is supposed to be broken? A quick experiment: if Lieberman announced tonight that he was going with Bibi, everyone would jump on him in fury. So why, if he goes with the Arab parties, would everyone say, “See? Fine”? Why is one promise something we can shrug off, “the election’s over, the masks come off,” while the promise not to sit with Netanyahu is set in stone?

Ah yes in the only “democracy” in the Middle East, you can just hold new elections when you don’t like the result.
Netanyahu’s ONLY hope to hold onto power (unless Channel 14 is calling it right) is to drag the country back to elections.

Ok and? I bet you 90% of Germans in the 1940s said they had a connection to Nazi Germany.
"The share of American Jews who describe Israelis as extended family or part of their own community has climbed from 46% to 62% since 2021. Today, fully 71% of American Jews feel emotionally attached to Israel. In contrast, the share of American Jews who say they feel no real connection at all to Jews in Israel has dropped by more than half since 2021, from 28% to 13%."

People don’t hate you because you’re Jewish. Everyone hates you because you’re an annoying spec on the planet.
Welcome to 2026, where hating Jews is no longer considered antisemitism.

The ad easily exposed Zionists in an instant, because not once is “Jew” mentioned in the entire ad. Zionists though are immediately crying and lying saying the ad targets Jews. Once again their conflation of Jews and Israel is actual antisemitism.

We have a thing called the first amendment.
Columbia barred Mahmoud Khalil on safety grounds. Now it is giving him a stage. That is why we asked DOJ to enforce the $200M antisemitism agreement. We also wrote to Columbia’s leadership, and filed a formal report with its monitor. Compliance is not optional.

The funny thing is that Ra’am is the most conservative of the Arab parties and very likely agrees with the the religious far right Jewish parties on a lot of conservative issues. The problems are those Jewish parties are just too racist to enter into a collation with an Arab party.
Mansour Abbas, leader of the Ra’am Party, tells me they are aiming for two outcomes from today’s vote: 1. Receiving 8 seats (Ra’am currently has 5). 2. The Eisenkot block NOT passing 61 seats, so they will have to rely on Ra’am to replace Netanyahu.

So long as the Israeli government continues its genocide and apartheid, yes you’re correct in that nothing will change.
Jews in the diaspora seem to think a change in Israel’s government will be good for them — for us. But it doesn’t matter. The thing is, Israelis and Jews around the world aren’t targeted because of a specific government or policy. We’re targeted for the crime of being alive.
