كشفت صحيفة «نيويورك تايمز» اليوم عن اطلاعها على تقرير سري لمجلس الأمن الدولي تم إيداعه قبل اقل من أسبوع واحد، يوثّق بالتفصيل كيف أرسلت دولة الإمارات مرتزقة كولومبيين من مجموعة «ذئاب الصحراء» عبر ليبيا والصومال للقتال إلى جانب مليشيا الدعم السريع في السودان. ولفتت الصحيفة إلى أن الكشف عن هذا التقرير يأتي في توقيت بالغ الحساسية، بينما تدفع الإمارات بوزيرتها لانا نسيبة مرشحةً لمنصب الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة، وهي التي قادت، على مدى سنوات، جهود أبوظبي لإنكار تورطها في الحرب السودانية، بحسب ما أوردته الصحيفة.
