Visiting Richmond Synagogue and speaking to the young people there was a real eye-opener recently. Today, I raised it in Parliament; we must do more to ensure the Jewish community feels safe, and Jewish students can learn without needing to hide their faith.

The time to ban child-like sex dolls is now, and I hope Parliament backs my Bill today!

Heathrow expansion will cost £49 billion, and that’s being conservative. Gov’t refuses to admit that taxpayers will be forced to foot the bill - I called for transparency and accountability!

The special educational needs and disabilities system needs reform, but any change must have children at its heart, not a Treasury drive for savings by removing rights in a vacuum. The Govt must put an end to rumours and come clean with families about its plans.

Proud to join @childrensociety @Oasis_UK @unicef_uk in listening to young people about their experiences and calling on the Government to invest in childhood for a brighter future. Far too many children in the UK are growing up in poverty, denied the opportunity to thrive.

Absolutely delighted that the Government has confirmed this vital fund will continue, but I should NOT have had to drag ministers kicking and screaming to the House of Commons to do so, the day AFTER it expired. Families must not be put in this position again next year.

Very disappointing that the Prime Minister refused to confirm whether vulnerable children and their carers will continue to get the support they need through the Adoption & Special Guardianship Support Fund, which is due to end next week.

It’s so disappointing to see this Government risk losing its moral compass. Pupils can’t learn on empty stomachs and we need to be doing everything in our power to ensure that we give children the best opportunities to succeed in school.
