Cybertruck was an incredible technology development platform and lives on through Cybercab. Thanks to everyone who contributed to making the future looking like the future
As well to the community of owners whose adventures I've enjoyed and will continue to follow ❤️

I appreciate how fully the Left has totally forgotten about climate change and opted instead to go after - checks notes - machines that know everything

Kiko Dontchev of SpaceX just said at the UP.Summit that the company is targeting Friday, Nov. 13, for the launch Starship Flight 15.

Blue Origin has unveiled a new rocket engine, Northstar!
Northstar will reduce engine mass by 30%, part count by 50%, and increase its thrust to 3,180kN of force from the BE-4's 2,846 kN, keeps its oxygen-rich staged combustion cycle (ORSC), and will fly on New Glenn 7x2 and 9x4!

This is a no-brainer. If Elon's companies do well, so does the state of Texas...so does Talarico. Time for politics is over. Now it's time for business.
Our new booster engine, Northstar, was built from the ground up by a scrappy team focused on weight, cost, manufacturability, and performance. More than 65% of the engine is additively manufactured using our in-house 3D printing capability. Northstar can be assembled in less than a day and produces 715,000 pounds of thrust.

more Blue Origin news: they're building a new rocket engine, Northstar. liquid oxygen and liquefied natural gas, 715,000 lbs-force. it's compatible with the 9x4 New Glenn variant

The only investment advice you need to live by to get through any storm that comes your way $TSLA
As always, when things go well, it's never because of Elon. It's always the team or the engineers he pays.
If things go bad (in this case nothing will happen tho) it's always the fault of Elon. Nobody else.
Super typical uneducated hater behavior.

Even with a Democratic governor, Texas is still a much better environment to do business in
Texas democrats are not California democrats. And the state legislature is still red.

Peter hop off the sidequest, Neutron needs you dawg
🚀 From rockets to personal flight.
Incredibly proud to welcome Sir @Peter_J_Beck , founder and CEO of @RocketLab , to the Jetson family as the owner of Jetson ONE!
Pete experienced the Jetson ONE for himself, took the controls… and immediately knew he wanted one.

Now one question I’d like to know the answer to is how they got routed over this storm, was this in the flight plan, did ATC send them this way? And did they request a deviation from the flight plan prior to this?

To be clear, this is a plausible scenario, there'll be an investigation by the NTSB who will explore all the possibilities and may find contributing factors beyond this first guess.
I'm putting this out there because there are some conspiracy minded people saying bad things.

This Learjet crash sure looks like an icing situation. They were at 37,000 feet over a thunderstorm and suddenly started descending. There's a transcript of ATC calls that mentions the icing.
Ice accumulation is faster on tightly curved surfaces. The tailplane is basically small wings, which means tighter curves, so ice accumulates on the elevator at the back. The ice makes it less effective, you have to apply greater control deflection to keep the nose up, and then you run out of control authority, or push it too far and stall the tail. The nose pitches down and you pick up speed, exceeding limits of the aircraft. The horizontal stabilizer may have been torn off during descent, it would have an IAS of over 400KIAS at this point. That's over the 340KIAS limit. Mach number would be about 0.88, and when you factor in turbulence the stress on the airframe is even worse.
So, I expect the horizontal stabilizer didn't come off until the overspeed condition.
