From yesterday
The Warriors organization asked me to make some videos for their YT channel. Here is the second video!

Aside from Gabby Williams’ hosting barbecues at her house for the team, the Valkyries visiting Veronica Burton’s family home in Boston was also mentioned a lot.
Kaila Charles and Tip Hayes read each others’ minds when I asked for theirs.

A few minutes after this, the Valkyries huddled up around Natalie Nakase again and after some murmurs (from where I was standing) they let a collective scream as a team. I believe it was a stress-management exercise.
Karl Smesko x Chris Oliver ?? I can’t wait to watch this

NEW 📝📝📝:
Only Kiah Stokes can be so nonchalant about getting “M-V-KIAH” chants.
“I don't call her the Warden of Valkatraz for nothing.”
Story on how the Valkyries’ beloved veteran center guided them to a key Game 5 victory:

“That next game to close out is going to be the hardest game they've ever played in their lives, and I think they're cut out for it.”
Draymond Green on Valkyries being one win away from the title. Green’s been a part of six Finals teams, four winners and two that came up short.
I WANT TO BELIEVE
.@BillSimmons talks about Yaxel and the Warriors:
"I was convinced before last night that this was 1 of the 5 worst teams in the league and maybe 1 of the 3 worst, and the moment Steph got hurt, this was going to be beyond grim. That leads me to my 1st overreaction after 1 week. Overreaction #1, Yaxel might have single-handedly saved the Steph era, like for real, and I can't tell you how good he was in this Denver game last night . . . Yaxel looked like mid-2010's LeBron in this game. I don't say that lightly because mid-2010's LeBron was awesome. They're running the offense through him. He was all over the place on defense. He was rebounding. He was initiating stuff. He was getting to the basket whenever. It was unbelievable. I couldn't believe it. I couldn't believe how good he was."

The Kiah Stokes Legacy Game: 3 blocks and 3 3s (Threeah Stokes? I'll show myself out). Here's how it sounded on the @957thegame Golden State Valkyries Radio network.

On Kiah Stokes’ progression, Game 6’s scheduling, the series’ physicality & the Valkyries’ ahead-of-schedule execution of a vision that never wavered w/ @KO_Crowley:
When Natalie Nakase was hired, she said she wanted her team to be known for defense and selflessness. Two years later, those qualities have the Valkyries one win away from a championship.
@janekennyy joins "Section 415" to discuss the Finals. Listen now: sfstandard.com/section-415/2…
By my hasty count, GSV was crushed by ATL 1-14 in jump balls in Games 1 to 3. In Game 4 & 5 victories, GSV won jump balls 4 - 2.
Coincidence? I THINK SO
