In all seriousness, we don’t talk about it because it’s not quantifiable. We worship productivity and God’s patience seems to be too long and produces very little that’s obvious. A good lightening strike on a sinner, however…THAT’s taking care of business!

This is true but…I’m starting to believe the Kingdom of God doesn’t need to be advanced at all. After all, Jesus said it is near. Our job isn’t to fight for it. It’s to live as if it’s true which brings it to the fore. Just a thought I have sometimes.

Watching a baseball game at the park is about the experience as much as it is the play on the field. It’s the only sport with that kind of appeal. For a lot of people, that just means hanging out outside with friends & family. Consume it however you please.

This position is almost as entitled as the one being criticized. Hunger works when the kid is just being stubborn. But one of our kids had an aversion we still cannot explain and not for lack of trying. We were hard on him which made it worse. Thoughtfulness works better.

I have zero tolerance for kids who don’t want to eat what is served. Don’t eat then. Don’t announce your preference. Be hungry. Quietly. Raising your kids to demand accommodations for their preferences at shared or hosted meals is unfair to the planet.
