I lost my dad on Monday morning at 8. He passed away in his favourite place in the world, beside my mom in bed. 💔
I’m absolutely lost, family is supposed to rally around each other , instead of ripping each other to shreds.
I am thankful I had the last two weeks to look after him. Unfortunately that comes with some guilt. 💔💔
Absolutely crushed. He was only 67. Unvaxxed and the picture of health. Was a letter carrier for 40 plus year 💙
I'm glad my mayor is no longer a die hard socialist.

The Supreme Court has formally endorsed a sentencing regime in which punishment depends on your race.
In the recent Cope case, the Supreme Court upheld a reduced sentence for an Indigenous offender who brutally assaulted his intimate partner.
The trial judge imposed five years. A sentencing circle, an Indigenous conflict-resolution practice, recommended three.
The Supreme Court said three was right, scolding the trial judge for not giving enough weight to “Indigenous legal traditions.”
There is no such thing as “Indigenous law.” And Indigenous traditions should not override Canadian law as written by Parliament.
The result?
An offender receives a discount, not because of the facts of his crime, but because of his background.
This is not justice. It is racial accounting dressed up as reconciliation.
Make no mistake: equality before the law, a foundational principle of Western civilization, no longer applies in Canada.
The Supreme Court has replaced it with a system in which justice is administered according to group membership, ancestry, and historical grievance.
And it does not stop with Indigenous offenders.
The same logic is being extended through Impact of Race and Culture Assessments to other groups.
The principle is always the same: some Canadians are treated as members of groups with historical grievances, while others are treated as individuals responsible for their actions.
The People’s Party believes in ONE STANDARD OF JUSTICE FOR EVERY CANADIAN. You do the crime, you do the time. Full stop.
We are the only federal party willing to say what the Liberals and fake Conservatives will not: Canada’s courts must treat every victim and every offender equally before the law.

But, the establishment Uniparty were the winners last night in British Columbia.

What’s actually going on in Ukraine is that there is a massive incentive difference between the elites and the people.
The former have grown very rich off the hundreds of billions flowing to Ukraine, while the latter’s children are conscripted to die in trenches.

The early results of our efforts to refocus the International Student Program on attracting the very best students have been encouraging.
As overall international student admissions decrease, the proportion of students arriving to study at universities is increasing:
• University students have accounted for 46% of new student arrivals in 2026 (January to August), up from 29% in 2024.
• Master’s and doctoral degree students now account for 20% of new study permits issued in the same period.
IRCC will continue to welcome high calibre students at sustainable levels while reinforcing the integrity of our programs.
Libertarians, like myself, don't start with premise that everyone is born equal.
We can't assume everyone we bring here will be a benefit to Canada.
Without decent vetting we get the opposite.

If you're a Libertarian why would you care if the wages the job creators are paid are suppressed by introducing more labour to the market? Why would you even be advocating for restrictions on immigration at all and not just trust the market to figure things out?
Canada is actively looking to suppress the wages of it's working class.
Canada won't be Canada for much longer if this continues. – at Burlington, Ontario
