Brock Purdy is living proof “Iowa state players” aren’t the issue at Penn state Matt Campbell once went 7-6 with Brock Purdy (NFL starter), Breece Hall (NFL starter), Charlie Kolar (NFL starter), Xavier Hutchinson (NFL), Enny Uwazurike (NFL starter), Will McDonald (NFL starter), Darien Porter (NFL starter), Jaylin Noel (NFL starter), Malik Verdon (NFL), T.J. Tampa (NFL), Jake Hummel (NFL starter)— All on the same team.

Advanced stats show the 49ers quarterback is on pace for his best season yet, but he has played just four games and Mike Macdonald’s Seahawks are looming.

Penn State paid tens of millions of dollars for Iowa State coaches and players - and Iowa State got better. There is not a more humiliating storyline in sports right now.
