NEW: Minnesota House Democrats have elected Rep. Samantha Sencer-Mura as their majority whip, one of the highest-ranking positions in the legislature.
She is endorsed by the Twin Cities Democratic Socialists of America. In its platform, the Twin Cities DSA calls for tax increases, an end to Thanksgiving, dismantling the "racist, toxic highway system," public ownership of utility companies, and a "world without prisons and armed policing."
"Replace the police with an elected force of neighbors," their platform says.

Bernie Sanders:
We must enact a 5% wealth tax on billionaires so that we can provide every working-class family in the country, a family of four, with a $12,000 direct payment.
In other words, if you're a working-class family of four, that's $3,000 for every man, woman, and child. Twelve thousand bucks.
Furthermore, with that tax on billionaires, we can build 7 million units of low-income and affordable housing, we can make public colleges and universities tuition-free, and we can provide universal free child care for 13 million children.
That is what a wealth tax on billionaires can do.

The Democrats' top priority is to immediately kill the thing driving 1/3 of GDP growth and force it offshore. This won't stop the AI companies, it will only change where they do it.
