For a country that just had to give thousands of people early release bc of overcrowding and a court case backlog of 81k (including cases of actual sexual violence that often carry the longest wait time) this is one majorly counterproductive move 😵💫

She needs to be recalled. She has admitted she has no idea how the law she wrote herself, that affects us all, will be applied because she didn’t consult lawyers or experts before putting it forward and voting on it. Flagrant incompetence and abuse of her position.

The fundamental difference between the British government’s response to Ukraine vs its response to Palestine is just so blatantly hypocritical and racist, I genuinely don’t understand how they dont spontaneously implode from the sheer force of the contradiction.
Proud to announce that students in England will be able to study Ukrainian at GCSE.
It’s a chance for pupils to explore Ukraine’s rich culture and history and, for the Ukrainian community to remain connected to their heritage.
This is another step in our enduring support for Ukraine as part of the 100 Year Partnership 🇺🇦🇬🇧

You have to be joking. There is absolutely no way Abdul El-Sayed would have been allowed to stand as a Labour MP - and most likely would have been kicked out of the Party years ago.
The Labour Party blocked Faiza Shaheen standing as a candidate for sharing a skit by Jon Stewart and talking about her own experience of Islamophobia.
When you vilify, smear and demonise good people who refuse to let your hate define them, other good people don't stand by.
They stand up and vote for hope over fear.
Congratulations @AbdulElSayed 🎉

So sad. You’d like to think that no player sets out to cause harm like this and I doubt the keeper did, but I don’t know how you make that move and expect anything else. Feel for everyone involved, RIP 🕊️

Welfare as a % of GDP has been stable for the last 45 years. I would like a definitive answer about what these people think isn't working that acknowledges this basic fact.
“We will bring the benefits bill down”
Chancellor John Healey says the welfare system is “not working” and that the “overall bill will come down under Labour”

I pray that we get a Hemp extension locked in asap. Cannot go through the emotional rollercoaster that we went through with Bunny 😩

The man doesn't seem to realise that there is not enough work. Most of the vacancies you see are either fake, beyond your experience, or have too many people applying. You cannot "hardship" young people into jobs that don't exist and they still need to survive in the mean time
