Think I’m all set.
Prefer the rotation of Trafford/Verbruggen to Raya (mainly cuz I can’t afford Raya.)
Schade could be Barnes
Affengruber to Silva in GW9 is the plan.
Let’s see how it goes.

This is just sheet and utter incompetence. No two ways about it. Any other job and they’re fired for it. It’s not smart business. Or economical planning. It’s incompetence. They had months to plan and execute this window and failed once again.
🚨 NEW: Between Tielemans and Baleba joining, United considered signing an outright LB: Hall.
Mount was performing well in pre-season, and staff including Carrick felt Hall might be needed more, in providing competition for Shaw, than another midfielder.
Man United looked at a deal around the £50M mark for Hall and at that point believed a move to Old Trafford, and Champions League football, would have held appeal to him.
But the pursuit significantly slowed down about 3 weeks before deadline when Omar Berrada placed a call to Newcastle United chief executive David Hopkinson to directly address the matter at the top level and was told Hall was not for sale. The club essentially accepted this stance.
Man United did not move to sign another left-back of major profile, to keep the path clear for Hall in future. The situation is expected to be revisited next summer at the latest.
