They engaged in constant, unfavorable comparisons within rival program communities and even contacted me directly—boasting about their actions. I found this behavior contemptible and seriously considered halting development on this edition. Yet, having made a public commitment, I cannot stop now. This is a promise between you, the users, and myself—a pledge that must be honored for the long haul. In about two months, the HCl Edition will declare its independence from the standard Minecraft format and MI. We aim to transform into an animation and rendering tool capable of importing assets from various games—including Minecraft—and supporting compatibility with other models. We plan to gradually overhaul the UI/UX and codebase inherited from MI. However, we will maintain our identity as MI until all issues regarding licenses and copyrights are fully resolved. We have confirmed that making donations via existing platforms like PayPal or Ko-fi is difficult from within Korea.
