Visualization techniques are practiced by professional athletes, CEOs and other successful people to develop their decision making skills. Making decisions in the moment is a skill they developed, not a trait. A daily 10 minute habit to perfect the art of visualization:

Problem solving skills don't come naturally to everyone but anyone can master frameworks Here are the two common frameworks I've used to solve engineering and personal problems: 1. Personal Advisor: You start asking yourself questions in third person, as a personal advisor. Imagine someone comes up to you to ask yourself the same problem you're facing. What would you advise them? You'll find you'll solve the problem naturally because it's no longer your problem. Our instincts work better when it's not our own problem. 2. Board of Advisors: You reframe the problem as X's problem. X could be mentors, celebrities, entrepreneurs or people close to you. It becomes effortless if you know more about X and their approach. Or Character AI would work just as well. (@SahilBloom came up with this)

Marketing your products is one aspect that needs constant innovation. It's not like code where there are standard rules set. You have to constantly throw stuff in the dark to see what works. So let's explore 5 builders that have cracked the formula 👇

OpenAI launched the GPT store as a discovery channel, transitioning into a showcase for products and services, serving as a free acquisition funnel. But unknowingly, it sowed the seeds for a new vertical in LLM SaaS: AI Workflows as APIs for Businesses. Integrating AI & building automations shouldn't be limited to having AI resources on teams. If an API can automate lead generation and client outreach, why pay for AI agencies? When becoming a short-form creator is a click away, everyone's creative juices will get flowing. Existing LLM hosting providers (e.g, Replicate) are positioned to build this first and accelerate AI's adoption in new B2B markets. When and how this enters the market will determine AI's entry into the mainstream: Will it turn out to be a free-for-all marketplace where the provider profits off the API calls and lets creators choose how they price their APIs? Or a subscribers-only marketplace? -- Who is ready for the AI avalanche that's about to hit?

Costco is infamous for setting up kiosks around its stores to sample new and overstocked products from its inventory. But they're not doing this alone. CDS - a third party does this for them. And there's a market wide open for a new startup to become the Google Ads for CPG. Keep reading for the full startup idea. More than about giving away freebies, sampling is Costco's iconic marketing strategy. It's genius. - Identify products that are not doing well - sample them. - In return, build brand awareness, drive up sales, get a happy customer & indirectly affect purchase decisions. All for no cost - like pennies for a dollar. Other retail chains have started to get in on this strategy but are operating it with a new flavor: "𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁". Manufacturers & individual businesses from across the country are paying thousands per day just to be featured in-store. Anything to catch more eyeballs. It's opened up a new income stream for retail. Even better than Costco, right? Maybe. But it gets even better. What if this could be a new way to grow CPG in the digital era? A time where digital mediums are becoming increasingly saturated, advertisement and placement over physical will be thriving again. The opportunity to partner with retail brands and turn kiosks into advertisement channels is up for grabs. Here's the startup idea you can steal: 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 & 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 The idea is this: 𝟭. 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘂𝗺-𝘀𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲-𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹. Avoid the walmarts and costcos. Target the local brands until you build your portfolio. 𝟮. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦, 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦, 𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘤𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘢𝘥𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘦𝘴, 𝘦𝘵𝘤. Create a customer experience that makes vendors keep coming back to you for more. Get creative, go crazy. 𝟯. 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗿-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴. Create tiers based on who you partner with. The store's brand name, value, identity and size should all influence how much you want to charge vendors. Segment into sub-tiers considering outlet location & customer influx. Price your subscription to charge on a day-to-day basis (raise your rates on special holidays & weekends). E.g, Premium: Costco | Silver: Walmart | Bronze: Uncle Sam's Store. 𝟰. 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗨𝗻𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗺 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 Purchase products from local vendors. Catch their attention through viral campaigns. Show them how you're sampling their product. Uncle Sam has nothing to lose, but a lot to gain. 𝟱. 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗣𝗚 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁𝘀, 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 & 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲. Jumpstart with retail. Partnership with luxury brands is the end game. Anything can be sampled for the right price, at the right place. -- With AI, reaching eyeballs over digital will only become a tougher nut to crack. Physical is poised for a comeback: billboards, pop-up stalls, posters, flyers, news ads will be preferred over Google Ads. Ad agencies are already investing heavily into expanding their reach in physical channels, signalling the shift. Startups innovating in this market today are going to become millionaires over the next few months and years. -- Hope you enjoyed it!

A glimpse into a not-so-far-off dystopian future of life coexisting with the metaverse. Interactions and relationships become less meaningful and more robotic. Headsets become an identity & a necessity, rather than a luxury. Meta already envisioned this future long before its rebrand 3 years ago. Apple will accelerate the push and turn it into a reality this year with the Vision Pro's release. Photo Credits: MidJourney Subreddit – at Toronto, Ontario
