Go Hatters! 🟢⚪️ I am blessed to announce my commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Stetson University! I'd like to thank God for giving me the opportunity to play baseball at the next level and helping me out along the way. I'd also like to thank my parents and siblings for their support through the ups and downs of my baseball journey ever since I was a little kid. I'd like to thank my teammates for their support and for always sticking by my side. Thanks to everyone else who has supported me in my baseball journey throughout the years. l'd also like to thank all the coaches who have helped me become the man and player that I am today. Special shout out to @DrivelineBB, @pitchingcoachAR, and @GregOlsen25 for their help and advice as I've grown and played this sport. Also thank you to Lazaro Collazo and @gabbydelgadosports for helping me along this journey too. I'd also like to thank Coach Gierke, Coach Brewer, Coach Kramer, and the rest of the @StetsonBaseball staff for their belief and confidence in me, and also the opportunity to play at the next level. I can't wait for this next stage of my life!

Your command isn’t as bad as you think 🎯 Not only is it trainable in the long run, but there are probably strategy tweaks you could make right now that would show up on field immediately. Great new blog from @Travis_Sawchik in the qt below ⬇️

Low Days should be renamed exploration days. Put your body in positions/tasks it has never solved before. Make your brain learn something new. One, because it will allow you to become a more robust mover, and two, it is fun as hell. Going to need to have fun to stick around.

Depending upon your role, the game demands the following: 🔘500-700 throws per week 🔘2,000-3,000 throws per month Your throwing program should ensure the first time you hit these weekly and monthly volumes is NOT in the month of June

"Driveline" has become a verb dadcoaches and uneducated fans sling around as a synonym for... well, who knows really. Whatever they don't like, I guess. What does "Driveline" really stand for? Simple: Writing things down, continually.

Gone are the days of "getting a MoCap" and being ahead of the curve Whether its through a facility in a bullpen or using in-game data, the edge is no longer having Motion Capture data - its how you use it 🧵

Cool computer vision work being done here in FL. Also a reminder that even if you don’t have a CV project that tracks every throw, all your throws should be to a target. Concurrent training principles should also be applied to your skills. Stuff+command can be trained together
There are few jobs that allow you to turn any idea into reality. Driveline will always be the land for new ideas Latest idea - CV Ball Tracking to measure command, not only in bullpens but on every throw. #bigstrikes #noballs S/O @Stevie_T12 for the seeds!

Expanding on this phenomenal tweet from @FergPitching, this time focusing intra-athlete The Biomech Viewer - shoutout @alexbbritton22 🐐 - paints the picture of movement perfectly. 8 Heaters from the same athlete, all above 95, with 8 different solutions to the task.
Every pitcher brings their own intrinsic dynamics into every throw, and pitching has enough degrees of freedom that more than one solution gets you to 96+. The job isn't to eliminate that variability. It's to let the athlete explore their own movement solutions.
