New research from @Feskelab suggests that chloride nucleotide-sensitive channel 1A (CLNS1A) is a key transcriptional and epigenetic regulator of pathogenic #CD4 #Tcells in mouse models of #autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. scim.ag/3HHrOYJ
Looking forward to hosting Dr. Min Peng tomorrow, June 18 at 11AM ET, for our next ICTI webinar at @NYUGSOM_Path! He’ll share new insights into ER calcium channels in T cells and how they might unlock new therapeutic strategies. Don’t miss it!

Join us on May 15, 2025, from 11 AM to 12 PM for the next ICTI seminar at @NYUGSOM_Path featuring Dr. Nicolas Demaurex. He will discuss the regulation and function of store-operated and mechanosensitive Ca²⁺ channels in immune cells, with a focus on neutrophils #ICTI #CTISRC
Thank you, @bimald, for the lecture on TRPM7 channels in Endolysosomal Physiology of Macrophages. It was an incredibly insightful presentation.
As we plan for the next academic year, we welcome speaker suggestions! If you have any recommendations, please feel free to share them!
Join us on April 3, 2025, for the next ICTI Research Seminar at @NYUGSOM_Path! Dr. @bimald will discuss “Ion channel TRPM7 in Endolysosomal Physiology of Macrophages”, focusing on the critical role of TRPM7 in immune cell function and its implications for immunomodulation. #ICTI
Dr. Chiu @IsaacChiuLab gave a brilliant talk on the role of TRPV1+ nociceptor neurons in host defense and barrier immunity. Read the full publication here:

A huge thank you to Dr. Chiu for sharing his insights with our @NYUGSOM_Path community!
Prof. Isaac Chiu @IsaacChiuLab will be presenting at our next ICTI Seminar on "Nociceptor neurons in host defense and barrier immunity" at @NYUGSOM_Path. Join us on February 27th, 2025, at 11 AM EST. Zoom link available upon request!
We are excited to announce our latest study published in @ScienceTM! We show that dysfunctional regulatory T cells drive Sjögren’s disease via IFN-gamma producing Th1 cells. Baricitinib inhibits IFN signaling and significantly alleviates symptoms, offering new hope for patients.
