I'm sad to share that Frances, the First Cat of KS, was laid to rest today. She lived a long, adventurous life & greeted Cedar Crest visitors with pride & demand for affection. Although all good things come to an end, she no doubt left a big paw print as the First Cat of Kansas.

I thank the people of Kansas for the honor to continue serving the state we love. These first 4 years were about getting our state back on track. These next 4 years are about making sure Kansas lives up to its potential as the best place to raise a family. The future is bright.

My granddaughter, Rory, is ready for tonight! Please make your voice heard and go vote.

Kansas

Kansas, don't forget to vote on August 2nd.

When we come together and vote, we create change. Tomorrow is the last day to register to vote in the primary election. Update and check your registration status now: lk4ks.us/vote

This evening I was in Wamego for the 4th of July parade. I enjoyed spending the day in our communities celebrating our country while reaffirming my promise to do my part to make KS a better place for all of us. Enjoy tonight’s fireworks & stay safe. 🎆
