College football fans are still living in the world of 1 to 3 really good teams and everyone else. That’s not the sport anymore. Good and bad are relative. There are a lot of good teams now and it’s hard to win week to week.

Notice anything about the “Fan Consensus” blind resume rankings?
I did the ESPN blind resume ranking and came up with this. Pretty fun. espnanalytics.com/cfb-blind-…

I love that ESPN came out with a blind resume ranking tool for fans and it backfired because, without logos, the SEC plummeted and people rewarded the Group of 6 team

Curt Cignetti on the CFP Rankings show last night: "These people -- and there's a whole bunch of them -- they march out of the tent, they're given instructions on what to say and follow the company line. I don't need to go any further." #iufb

It makes me laugh when people critique Indiana’s schedule/record but say they lost to #12 Ohio State. What was Ohio State ranked when they lost to them? That’s right…they were ranked above IU at No. 4. They didn’t lose to the Sayin-less Buckeyes either. IU’s offense has been shaky, but they show up when it matters most. And their defense has been one of the best in the country. It’s not like they lost to Northern Illinois at home…
What has Indiana done to be ranked #4? Wins: North Texas Howard Western Kentucky Northwestern (by 6) Rutgers Nebraska (by 3) Michigan (by 7 in OT) Minnesota (by 7 in OT) Losses: #12 Ohio State

Notre Dame opponents by an average of the major power ratings 17 BYU 35 Wisconsin 45 UNC 60 Purdue 70 Michigan State 90 Navy 120 Rice (Irish are 1st in this btw) Schedule has been beyond pathetic, but are Irish not getting getting credit for dominating?

I’m not agreeing or disagreeing, but it’s important to remember that there are MULTIPLE metrics. Pulling just the SOS doesn’t highlight the entire profile.
Having so many high SEC teams for schedule strength but also Indiana at No. 4 makes no sense. It's one or the other.
