Have you all seen the viral video of a #Kolkata couple happily enjoying Durga Puja pandal-hopping with their son, riding in a rickshaw? However, some women began mocking the man’s appearance, baldness, height, and financial status! Some called him “below average,” while others portrayed his wife as a victim, claiming she deserved someone better and had made a huge sacrifice by marrying him! Think about it. A man is happy with his family, enjoying his life, and minding his own business, yet some people simply cannot tolerate his happiness! Has feminism now come to mean putting men down even during their happiest moments? How long will men’s dignity and self-respect continue to be targeted by turning every beautiful moment into a negative narrative? And how long will this narrative continue to portray women as victims who are always sacrificing and suffering, no matter what the situation is? WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THIS? A domestic dispute turned fatal in Ahmedabad's Naroda area after a 34-year-old woman allegedly stabbed her 39-year-old husband, Dilip Kharadi, a retired Army serviceman, to death with a kitchen knife. According to reports, the incident took place late Thursday night, November 5, at the couple's residence in Naroda Smart City-2. The couple had reportedly been having frequent arguments for nearly a year over household responsibilities, food preferences and financial matters. The immediate trigger was reportedly a disagreement over dinner. Dilip allegedly questioned his wife, Nirmala Kharadi, about the vegetable she had prepared. What began as a verbal argument reportedly escalated into a heated confrontation, during which Nirmala allegedly picked up a kitchen knife and stabbed him on the left side of his chest. Following the attack, Nirmala reportedly informed her brother-in-law about the stabbing and took Dilip to Shalby Hospital. However, he succumbed to his injuries. His father later noticed the stab wound on his chest, along with other injuries on his body. Dilip had retired from the Army in 2022 and was subsequently working as a contractual driver with the Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC). The couple also had two children. Following the incident, Naroda Police launched an investigation and arrested Nirmala within hours, reportedly using CCTV footage and intelligence inputs. A murder case has been registered against her under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), along with relevant provisions of the Gujarat Police Act. The investigation is underway to establish the exact circumstances leading to the fatal confrontation. A domestic disagreement has now left two children without their father, while their mother remains in police custody. #formenindia

The incident took place on October 27 in the Garfa area of south Kolkata. According to police, the victim was returning home from work when a group of youths intercepted him near a pond in the Lenin Nagar area. They allegedly blindfolded him, forced a helmet onto his head and began assaulting him under the pretext of playing a game. When the victim resisted and tried to remove the helmet, the accused allegedly attempted to force him to drink petrol. After he refused, they poured petrol over his body, lit a matchstick and set him on fire. The entire incident was reportedly recorded on a mobile phone. The victim managed to escape by running away and removing his burning clothes. Local residents came to his rescue and rushed him to a hospital, where he received treatment for burn injuries to his chest and abdomen. Police suspect that the accused filmed the assault with the intention of creating a social media reel. However, the victim's family has alleged that the attack was also connected to an old financial dispute involving ₹500 that the victim had borrowed from one of the accused around six months earlier. The family claims that he had already repaid the amount. Following a complaint by the victim's family, Kolkata Police arrested three adults and apprehended two minors in connection with the incident. Police are examining the viral footage and questioning the accused to establish the exact motive behind the attack. The incident has once again raised serious concerns about the growing obsession with social media fame and the disturbing lengths to which some individuals may go to create viral content. #formenindia

According to the claims accompanying the viral footage, one of the women allegedly urinated and vomited inside the cab after getting intoxicated. The situation reportedly became even more frustrating for the driver when the passengers allegedly refused to pay for the cleaning expenses despite leaving the vehicle in an unhygienic condition. The incident has triggered criticism online, with many people expressing sympathy for the cab driver, who depends on his vehicle for his livelihood. Such incidents can cause financial losses to drivers, as they may have to spend money on professional cleaning and temporarily stop accepting rides until the vehicle is cleaned. Social media users have questioned why a driver should bear the financial burden of damage or mess caused by irresponsible passengers. Note: The exact location, identities of the passengers and the driver's account have not been independently established in the reports available. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THIS? #formenindia

The Supreme Court of India observed while hearing a matrimonial dispute where a wife challenged her existing interim maintenance amount, arguing it was insufficient to cover her expenses. The petitioner disputed the maintenance amount, pointing out that her estranged husband owns fourteen 5-star hotels. She argued that the ₹3 lakh monthly sum was not enough for her lifestyle, noting that she was currently living in a hotel. A Supreme Court bench, including Justice BV Nagarathna, dismissed the notion that ₹3 lakh a month is a small or inadequate amount for sustenance. Maintenance is legally intended to protect the financially dependent spouse from destitution and to preserve a realistic standard of living. It is not meant to act as a financial bonanza, windfall, or a punitive tool against the wealthier spouse. #formenindia

A family in Uttar Pradesh was left stunned when a woman who had been missing for nearly five years suddenly returned to her matrimonial home with a court order, just as her husband was preparing to marry again. According to reports, the couple got married in 2020 in a love marriage of their own choice. However, barely a month after the wedding, the woman allegedly left her matrimonial home. Her husband's family claims that they made several attempts to trace her but failed to find any information about her whereabouts for the next five years. With no information about her and believing that she might never return, the family eventually moved on. After five years, the husband decided to remarry, and preparations for his second wedding were reportedly underway. However, just when the family was preparing for the wedding, the first wife suddenly appeared at their home with a court order, making it clear that she would not allow her husband to marry again while their marriage was still legally subsisting. The woman subsequently presented her version of events. She alleged that she had been subjected to physical assault and verbal abuse over dowry demands at her matrimonial home, which forced her to leave. She further claimed that she approached the court after learning that her husband was planning to enter into a second marriage in order to protect her legal rights. However, the husband's family has a completely different account. They maintain that the couple had married willingly, but the woman left just a month after the wedding without informing them of her whereabouts. Despite their attempts to locate her, they allegedly received no information about her for five years. Her sudden return, accompanied by a court order, has now left the family in a difficult situation, especially with the second marriage preparations already underway. For now, both sides have presented conflicting versions of events. The woman's allegations of dowry harassment and the family's claims about her prolonged absence will need to be examined through the appropriate legal process. #formenindia

The incident took place on November 1, 2026, when Zaid Ahmad, a resident of West Champaran, Bihar, connected with a woman on Tinder who introduced herself as Sanya. She reportedly invited him for a blind date and asked him to meet near GTB Nagar Metro Station between 6:30 pm and 7 pm. After meeting him, the woman took him to Black Panther Cafe in Hudson Lane, Mukherjee Nagar. During their meeting, she allegedly ordered several food items, beverages and whisky. After some time, Ahmad was presented with a handwritten bill amounting to approximately ₹26,000. When he questioned the unusually high bill, the cafe owner and other staff members allegedly pressured him to pay immediately. According to the complaint, three to four people threatened him and prevented him from leaving the premises until he cleared the amount. Fearing for his safety, Ahmad contacted his father, who transferred the money online. Interestingly, when the initial payment attempts through the cafe's QR code failed, another QR code displaying the name 'Naveen Rajput' was provided. The payment was eventually completed through the second QR code, following which Ahmad was allowed to leave. The woman allegedly switched off her mobile phone and became untraceable after the incident. Following the complaint, Delhi Police registered an FIR at Mukherjee Nagar Police Station under Sections 308(2) (extortion) and 3(5) (common intention) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Police subsequently arrested two people identified as Javed (38), the owner of Black Panther Cafe, and Anuj Kumar (24), an employee. Both are residents of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, the woman, identified as Sanya alias Nikita, remains absconding. Police are also investigating whether more women and establishments were involved in a wider dating-app extortion racket. Investigators are examining allegations of similar incidents involving the cafe, with some previous victims reportedly avoiding complaints due to social stigma. The investigation is ongoing. #formenindia #tinder #datingscam

In a significant development from Uttar Pradesh, the Allahabad High Court has directed the Meerut Police to register an FIR against a woman for allegedly filing a false rape case against her own brother, accusing him of repeatedly sexually assaulting her minor daughter. The case came to light during the hearing of a bail application filed by the accused, who had been booked under various provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. During the trial, the minor girl reportedly told the court that her maternal uncle had merely scolded her over her mobile phone usage, which had led to the false allegations. The girl's mother also contradicted her original complaint, stating that she had filed the FIR under pressure from a neighbour and that her daughter had never told her about any sexual assault. She further alleged that the police had incorrectly recorded her statement. Both the mother and daughter turned hostile during the trial and did not support the prosecution's allegations. Taking note of their testimonies, Justice Arun Kumar Singh Deshwal observed that the mother had admitted to filing a false case against her brother. On October 28, 2026, the High Court granted bail to the accused and directed the Senior Superintendent of Police, Meerut, to register an FIR against the woman under Section 22 of the POCSO Act, which deals with punishment for certain false complaints or false information. The court's order brings attention to the serious consequences of deliberately filing false sexual assault complaints. While genuine victims must be protected and their allegations investigated fairly, those who knowingly misuse laws intended to protect children must also be held accountable. STRICT LEGAL ACTION AGAINST SUCH WOMEN CAN ONLY REDUCE SUCH FALSE CASES #formenindia

A shocking incident has come to light in which a 22-year-old woman allegedly killed her father by repeatedly striking him on the head with a pressure cooker following an argument over her excessive mobile phone usage. The argument reportedly began when the father asked Kajal to stop spending so much time playing games on her mobile phone and concentrate on her studies & help with household chores. During the heated exchange, he allegedly snatched her phone and threw it on the floor, breaking it. Enraged by this, Kajal allegedly attacked him with a pressure cooker lid and subsequently stabbed him in the abdomen with a kitchen knife. The victim's wife rushed to the kitchen after hearing his screams and found him seriously injured. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Following a complaint by the victim's wife, Amroli police registered a murder case and arrested Kajal. She was subsequently sent to judicial custody. Further investigation into the incident is underway. No disagreement or argument can justify such brutality, and the incident raises serious questions about anger management, family relationships and the growing need to address conflicts before they turn fatal. #formenindia

The Supreme Court of India has quashed a dowry death and cruelty case against a husband whose wife died by suicide in Toronto, Canada, observing that calling one's wife “stupid” and “useless”, even if true, cannot by itself constitute an offence of cruelty or criminal intimidation. A bench of Justices B.V. Nagarathna and Manmohan set aside the Bombay High Court's order refusing to quash the proceedings against the husband. The couple had married in January 2021 and moved to Toronto in February 2022. In June 2023, the woman died after jumping from the 22nd floor of their residential apartment. Following her death, her father filed a complaint alleging dowry demands and physical and mental harassment by the husband and his family. However, the Supreme Court found that the allegations of dowry demands and harassment were vague and unsupported by sufficient evidence. The bench also noted that the woman's suicide note referred to her struggles with studies and inability to find employment but did not mention any harassment or dowry demands by her husband or in-laws. The court observed that a spouse's short temper or verbal remarks cannot automatically be given a criminal colour without specific evidence of cruelty or harassment. It further emphasised that general allegations without details of specific incidents are insufficient to continue criminal proceedings. The Supreme Court consequently quashed the FIR and all consequential proceedings against the husband, holding that continuing the prosecution in the absence of sufficient evidence would amount to an abuse of the process of law. #formenindia #dowry

The incident came to light after the boy received a message on Instagram, and his body was discovered a day later inside a sack at an abandoned plot. Two teenagers have reportedly been detained in connection with the case. According to preliminary police findings, Abhiram was allegedly strangled with a belt, and his body was stuffed inside a sack before being abandoned at an isolated plot. Three people, including two teenagers and an adult, have reportedly been taken into custody. Police are investigating the alleged motive and whether the murder was planned in advance. We have always heard men being accused of objectifying women and posting sexist and vulgar comments in their comment sections. But don't women objectify men too? Just take a look at these comments. Women have posted these remarks in the comment section of a spiritual preacher, Shri Shashwat Acharya. These comments are proof that women are equally capable of objectifying men. And this is not something new; it has been happening for a long time. But just because they are women, does that mean they get a free pass? If this isn't hypocrisy, then what is? If women are equally capable of such behaviour, then why should laws be biased in their favour? Shouldn't laws and punishments be equal for both genders? What are your thoughts on this? Let us know in the comments! #formenindia

A shocking incident has reportedly taken place at the Allahabad High Court, where a man who had arrived to attend a court-directed mediation proceeding was allegedly tied up by his wife and abandoned in a corner with a handkerchief stuffed into his mouth. According to the information shared, the man was found in this condition and was rescued by advocates. The incident raises serious concerns about the safety of litigants who visit court premises seeking legal remedies. Mediation is meant to provide a peaceful platform for resolving disputes, not expose individuals to intimidation or physical harm. A place meant to deliver justice should never become a place where someone has to fear for their own safety. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THIS BIZZARE INCIDENT? #formenindia

A shocking murder case has emerged from Telangana's Kamareddy district, where a 25-year-old woman allegedly conspired with her two lovers to murder her husband and make his death look like an accident. The victim, identified as Gummadi Kashiram (26), was a daily-wage labourer from Hanmajipet village. His body was discovered in Pachera Cheruvu lake on the night of October 23. Initially, police registered a suspicious death case following a complaint by his father. However, a preliminary post-mortem report revealed that Kashiram had been murdered, prompting police to launch a detailed investigation. According to police, Kashiram's wife, Savitha, was allegedly involved in relationships with two men, Chintakindi Ramu (26), a daily-wage labourer, and Pasupula Santhosh (25), a tractor driver. Police suspect that the trio plotted to eliminate Kashiram because he objected to these relationships. As per the alleged plan, the two men took Kashiram out on the pretext of drinking alcohol. Once he was heavily intoxicated, Ramu allegedly strangled him using a nylon rope while Santhosh held his hands to prevent him from escaping. After killing him, they allegedly dumped his body into the lake and attempted to destroy evidence to make it appear that he had accidentally drowned. Using CCTV footage, technical evidence and local information, police arrested all three accused on October 30. They were subsequently produced before a court and sent to judicial custody. #formenindia
