In her recent federal filing, Mary Peltola's counsel insisted, "DOJ's complaint is wholly baseless." Now the NY Times is reporting that her campaign was actively involved in seeking to confuse Alaskan voters by running decoy "Dan Sullivans." A staffer now says that Peltola knew about the effort to force voter confusion.

Three years in, @SpeakerJohnson hasn’t given in to the AI panic. He’s kept the focus on the innovation-first approach that keeps us ahead and led the House on bipartisan energy reform. Like we say at @abundanceinst, abundant energy and free innovation go together. He gets it.

Friends, when Paul says, “Have no anxiety at all,” he doesn’t mean eliminating all fear and worry. And the clue is in what he says next: “But in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God.”
Paul knows that, like an ocean, the surface of our lives will always have crashing waves and winds. But just as the ocean’s depths remain perfectly serene despite the storm above, we, too, can find peace by moving to a deeper and more central place: the place where you are here and now being created by God.
Root your life in Christ—and you will find serenity despite any and all anxiety.

🚨PSA: The wording of Question 3 on your ballot is very confusing. Simply put, a vote for Question 3 is a vote to remove constitutional protections and allow EXTREME partisan gerrymandering in Maryland.
Vote AGAINST Question 3 to STOP gerrymandering, defend our constitutional protections, and require fairer maps, districts, and representation.

*Consumer prices today are 27.2 percent higher than they were in January 2021.
*Something that cost $100 when Biden took office now costs about $127.
*Biden bears the lion’s share of the blame for that cumulative increase.
*The consumer price index rose 21.4 percent from January 2021 to January 2025 (Biden’s term), while it has risen just 4.8 percent since Trump took office.
*In other words, of that $27 in rising costs, about $21 came on Biden’s watch.

Sen. @RandPaul has blocked the Kids Online Safety Act, warning that its “duty of care” would incentivize platforms to censor lawful speech. reason.com/2026/10/02/rand-p…

👏 @RandPaul for standing up against KOSA and blocking an attempt to fast-track the bill through the Senate.

Thank you, @DrRandPaul! One sane voice among senators propelled by moral panic.
'Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) blocked an effort from Sens. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) and Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) on Wednesday to pass by unanimous consent the Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA), a long-sought bill that intends to protect kids in the digital space.' Great news!!!
.@RandPaul blocked senators Blackburn and Blumenthal’s effort to pass KOSA by unanimous consent.
KOSA is online censorship and surveillance. Shame on these lawmakers for trying to pass these surveillance and digital ID frameworks on the backs of our children!!
The sponsors claim that they have included protections for free speech. Those protections are illusory.
State right to publicity laws are generally limited to commercial use of another's likeness. The No Fakes Act creates a right that includes even non-commercial uses, which sweeps in a truly massive amount of First Amendment activity.

It's great to see @FCC leading by example: chip away at unnecessary NEPA rules so America can build the infrastructure it needs. Other agencies should take note! I was glad to offer my statement of support.

Last year the same labs, politicians, NGOs, and media outlets now pushing the extinction hoax were running a full-scale campaign that AI would cause a jobs apocalypse.
We were told it would be a “white-collar bloodbath,” 10–20% unemployment, half of entry-level jobs gone. Obama amplified it.
Over a year later: unemployment at 4.1%. No economy-wide displacement. A million new jobs created by AI, says The Economist. Anthropic’s own chief economist says the data looks like skill augmentation, not job destruction.
So, any admission by the doomer labs, politicians, and NGOs that they were wrong? Any humility about scaring the public with wild extrapolations dressed up as forecasts? Nope.
They just move on to the next hoax, with the same false certitude and fake precision.
🚨 Anthropic Chief Economist Peter McCrory Says AI Job Loss Predictions Are Not Panning Out
“What I see in our data is that [AI] looks more like a skill-biased labor augmenting technology than a technology that outright automates and displaces displaces jobs wholesale … Based on the Department of Labor's taxonomy … there's no job where every single task is being automated by Claude.”

The App Store Accountability Act could absolutely lead to a CCP-style digital ID...right here in America. Passed under the guise of "protecting kids."
This bill was written by Meta. Are you surprised that it leads to Digital ID and online surveillance?
It's branded a "child safety" bill, but as Texas Rep .@brianeharrison explains, the App Store Accountability Act is a UK-style Digital ID, requiring every user to "show papers" to be able to download ANY app from the App Store.

We're now reaching the stage of AI policy hysteria where lawmakers will start proposing things on an “emergency powers" basis.
We'll be told “there's no time for delay" and "we cannot wait any longer" as lawmakers look to ram through major power-expanding bills without much serious consideration. In some cases, we won't even get to see the bill language beforehand, as with Sen. Mark Warner's new effort.
Broad new powers and discretion will be delegated to the executive branch as part of these efforts, and powerful new administrative bureaucracies will be proposed as other existing ones are expanded. You'll hear the terms "crisis" and "urgent protections" used at every juncture.
We've seen the script before before during the Great Depression, Vietnam War, post-9/11, & COVID.
Government grows, liberties fade.

It is remarkable to me that Republican leadership in both chambers and the chairs of the respective Commerce Committees have still not floated any legislative language on AI policy. Not even draft language has seen light of day. Dems haven’t even won the midterms yet but they are already completely in control of setting the AI policy agenda at the federal and even more so at the state level, where large Blue states – led by CA, NY & IL – have essentially already established America’s de facto national AI regulatory policy. A complete governance failure by Republican leadership on the most pressing technology policy issue of modern times.

In 1979, just weeks before he died, Archbishop Fulton Sheen gave his final interview to Marie Torre of WABC. The 5 most important things he said in the interview were....
1. Modern erotic culture is a failure of purpose, not merely a failure of rules.
2. Children require moral formation, not permissive abandonment disguised as freedom.
3. The human heart wants life, truth, and love in an absolute form; this desire points to God.
4. The Church cannot become credible by copying the world.
5. The family depends on sacrificial love, not mutual self-satisfaction.
When he gave this interview, no one knew it would be his last. Let us never forget his wisdom.
