A wonderful World Book Day at @GCEAcademy! 📚✨ Celebrations included a Read-a-Thon with other classes and family members. Each learner also chose a WBD book to keep- so wonderful to see them sharing and enjoying them!💙#WorldBookDay @WSHEnglishHub #LincolnshireReadingPledge
This year there were no book tokens handed out, thrown away, lost at the bottom of bags or left in trays but thanks to @Miss__Ch__ every learner left with a free book to enjoy, read and share with family members. #ReadingMatters #ReadTodayAchieveTomorrow
Mr Baxter popped into Greece Class’ maths session yesterday and ended up in an area and perimeter problem against some of our learners. #MathsCanBeFun #HavingFun #AlwaysLearning
Recorder club was a huge success this week! Miss Bates has a talent she wants to share and our learners were so grateful for this opportunity. #MusicMatters #OpportunitiesToThrive

So proud of these two learners! For their termly project homework, they designed and coded a Scratch game inspired by The Barnabus Project (one of our class texts). Today, they shared it with the rest of Greece Class. Such amazing creativity! 👏 👾🕹️📚 @GCEAcademy
Was great to see not one… but two of our House Representatives on @BBCTheOneShow! Such inspirational role models for our learners @GCEAcademy 🏡 @leahcwilliamson @EllieSimmonds1

Spring 1 you have been very busy but we have had a blast! Great effort and hard work by all learners! 💙 @GCEAcademy @VoyageEP
One of our Y6 learners led part of Friday’s assembly, looking at a book called “Feelings’
This tied in nicely with #MentalHealthWeek as all of our learners had been exploring their own feelings and emotions over the week!

Our art week has been amazing! We have learnt 5 new artists and had lots of exploration time. I think the favourite in China class was flicking paint with a lolly pop and string! #EYFS #KS1 @GCEAcademy @VoyageEP

A super first week back at school, we welcomed a new starter and all year groups were very enthusiastic about our traditional tale this week! EYFS loved it in the provision and to end our week, all of the children got to be crafty and make Jack's beanstalk! @GCEAcademy @VoyageEP
