I registered four popular British first names in ENSv2 (@ensdomains).
I'll auction them off when someone creates the 'ENSv2 pre-punk first 25 v2 names' category on @grailsmarket and donate the proceeds to a charity of my choice.
ENSv2 is deployed but not yet live.
The initial activation proposal is in motion and over the next few weeks v1 gets frozen, names can be migrated, resolution cuts over and admin is handed to the DAO.
I've built a way to follow all of it on ENSWhois

All of this functionality is powered by the ENSWhois API which is publicly available.
Our MCP server now has an `ensv2_status` tool so agents can ask where for the v2 status of any name.

🌟 #ICANN has announced that Reveal Day for the #NewgTLDProgram: 2026 Round will be 7 October.
ICANN will publish the list of applications proceeding through the program, including the entities that applied, the strings applied for, and the public portions of each application at 18:00 UTC on that day.

ICANN's Technical Sudy Group (TSG) has published its proposed rules for integrating gTLDs with alternative naming systems like ENS. I built a prototype of what the report proposes.
