We're proud to partner with SBI Holdings to continue expanding financial access across the globe 🌏
We are deeply honored to announce @crossriverbank’s partnership with SBI Holdings and our plan to build a joint venture in Japan.
Kitao-san founded SBI in 1999 and built it into one of Japan’s most remarkable financial groups, a true pioneer of internet finance. It is a privilege to build alongside him. With JPYSC, Japan’s first trust-type yen stablecoin, SBI is leading the way once again.
Together, we look forward to advancing financial inclusion across Japan and Asia-Pacific, starting with cross-border payments, agentic finance and onchain solutions.
Our sincere thanks to Kitao-san and the SBI team for their trust and partnership, and to Pravesh Rijal, Benjamin Samuels, Daniel Listhaus, Hasan Nawaz, Benjamin Melnicki and Arlen Gelbard for making this happen.

Big news heading into @RippleSwell: the @USOCC has granted final approval for Ripple National Trust Bank.
This gives Ripple a federally supervised platform to support $RLUSD and provide digital asset custody to enterprises.
We’ve always said crypto and banks work better together — this is what that looks like. Real innovation, real accountability, federal oversight.
The revolution isn't happening outside the system. It's happening from within it.

Five days in, Batch is ~15% of XRPL mainnet transactions and the #3 transaction type. 1.39 million Batch transactions from 1,876 accounts, mostly all-or-nothing arbitrage that only executes when profitable. People are also using it for atomic NFT swaps.

Almost time!

LATEST: The Bank for International Settlements publishes a paper using the XRP Ledger as a proof-of-concept for verifying official statistics on-chain.
The BIS cites XRPL's low fees, 3-5 second settlement and proven track record, though no adoption decision has been made.

Making America the crypto capital of the world is within reach - let’s finish the job
Thank you @POTUS for hosting some of America's top leaders in innovation at the @WhiteHouse last month. Under your leadership, we're ensuring that the new frontier of finance is built on American soil.
This is very interesting!
The Bank of International Settlement used in their research paper the XRP Ledger (dev net) for its immutability and public verifiable properties!
So what did they do? Spoiler, they used the memo field, i suggest to use something else at the end.
The BIS wants to eliminate the trust that comes with published statistic files on websites.
Hash the files first, connect those hashes with a Merkle tree into one summary, put that in a Payment memo and submit it to the XRP Ledger. Once validated it’s permanent and immutable.
You get a tx hash plus the leaves and a signed credential, put that in the statistic file so anyone can check it against the ledger.
IMO there is a much better way to achieve this:
Use an NFT. They mention IPFS and actually you can use Arweave too. But put the hash into the NFT URI, anyone finding the statistics file can compute the hash and match against the URI hash (immutable), if it matches you know its the right one and not altered.
Why is an NFT better than a memo tx?
Because NFTs (yes NFT pages, don't be a Timmy...) are objects on the ledger and the memo isn't. So unless you want to store ledger history forever you better use objects as they get carried over into every next ledger.
