anyone with common sense knows this is purely an estimation, at the same time, not an accurate source to determine if the game thrives or not. Like I can bring up games I play like Warframe, Guardian Tales or other titles that are niche, still thrives despite earning less. 🤷

The only thing wuwa got in name of antagonist is fractsidous or threnodians(they are plot of fractsidous most of the times). While genshin got Abyss, Celestia, abyss order, sinners, shades, fatui, and all against each other. So yeah, cooperation against common enemy is reasonable

Theirs a lot of flaws, it will take awhile for them to get that level of views. Wuwa has the potential for sure but unfortunately, they screwed themselves further. Bmo genuinely believe in Wuwa's potential back then, but now... Not anymore.

I partially disagree. If explanatory dialogues were added in WuWa's case, sure, it has clarifications about the premise but it'll be easy to predict on what's gonna happen moving forward. That's why player interpretation exists in the first place.

& honestly, that ambiguity is a good thing. Theories, community discussions, and slowly getting answers over time are part of what keep people invested between major story updates. If you explain everything too early, you basically turn "what if?" -> "yeah, we already knew that"
