I can finally share some of the work I've done for Gears of War: E-Day alongside the super-talented team Mood Visuals. It was an incredible opportunity to contribute to one of the biggest IPs ever. For starters - Enemy Exfil Dom skin, Scorched Rusher and Locust Drone helmet.
I've still never had a single crash on Xbox but hopefully this helps the recent run of PC crashing I keep seeing! 🙌
This morning we've deployed a small patch for E-Day. The update includes a fix for an exploit that allowed players to disable Smoke Grenade effects, fixes for multiple movement-related crashes and numerous improvements to stability and optimization across PC, XBOX and handhelds.
We've also fixed an issue in Horde Siege where the death summary could display incorrect damage taken and weapon information.

These people DEFINITELY weren't playing games in the 90s. You were genuinely stuck with one or two games back then. ☕️

They were hardly gonna do E-Day then jump back to Gears 5 story. They have openly said in interviews that they're now focused on this 14 year time period leading up to the first game.

Was a lot of fun weaving and expanding on the old Tyran Fairy Tales of Romily and The Boogeyman. Lots of cool details all connected from different points of the series; games, comics, novels, even the original Gears 1 trailer if you caught the reference in the book collectable.
