For almost 40 years Don Cherry encouraged all his viewers to wear a poppy. Nobody batted an eye. Then he specifically mentioned recently arrived Canadians. He was immediately fired.

Don Cherry. Canadian legend. Silenced for speaking the truth. I used to watch Hockey Night in Canada every Saturday, waiting for Coach's Corner to come on, anticipating what Don had to say and what he was wearing. Wear your Poppy you people!!!

Hi Cathy. Media coverage on climate is down 40% in recent years because the majority of people understand that the climate crisis is a figment of your imagination and the policies you’re advocating for are a scam that will con taxpayers out of money. Give it up. Your grift is over.
We need to talk. The climate crisis is getting worse, yet politicians and business leaders are backing away from their commitments. Media coverage on climate is down 40% in recent years. Boy, was he ever... Don Cherry's firing because people were offended by him speaking his mind was a turning point for Canada. We've been going downhill ever since. We've become a nation of wimps and whiners

A while back, I wrote a piece about young people whining and complaining that they couldn’t afford to buy a house. Well, if you thought it was bad THEN, just wait until NOW! Congratulations, you dumbasses! You’ve just voted a bunch of communists into office, and now you’re about to find out what happens when you let people who couldn’t run a lemonade stand without a government subsidy run your economy. Good luck affording ANYTHING, much less a house! Hell, pretty soon you’ll be financing a loaf of bread over 72 months with no money down. I guess nobody bothered to crack open a history book and take a look at Cuba, Venezuela, or any of the other places where the government promised everybody a socialist paradise and delivered a third-world waiting room with no toilet paper. But apparently history doesn’t matter anymore because some 27-year-old TikTok philosopher with a nose ring and a degree in Gender Studies told you that capitalism was the reason you couldn’t afford a three-bedroom house, two Teslas, and a vacation in Bali while working three days a week at Starbucks. And here’s the funniest part. These people actually believe socialism and communism are going to make everybody EQUAL! Oh, you’re gonna be equal, all right. Equally broke, equally miserable, and equally standing in line for your government-issued bag of rice. See, the beauty of communism is that it doesn’t lift the poor up to the level of the wealthy. It drags everybody down to the level of poverty while the politicians live like kings and explain how wonderful your suffering is for the greater good. And somehow the same idiots who scream that billionaires have too much power think the solution is to hand ALL the power to the government. That’s like complaining that your house is on fire and hiring an arsonist to remodel the kitchen. You wanted affordable housing? Well, congratulations! Keep voting this way and you might finally get it. A beautiful, government-approved, 400-square-foot concrete apartment with one window, a communal bathroom, and a glorious view of the breadline. And don’t worry about the mortgage because you won’t own the damn thing anyway. You’ll just be grateful the government lets you sleep indoors. But look on the bright side, kids. You may never own a home, afford groceries, or have enough money left over to buy a used Honda Civic, but at least you can go to bed every night knowing you voted to defeat the evil billionaires. Of course, the billionaires will still be billionaires. The politicians will still be millionaires. And you’ll be sitting in your government-issued underwear eating cold beans out of a can, wondering why your free college degree in Social Justice Interpretive Dance didn’t prepare you for this. Welcome to your socialist paradise. The rent is due, the shelves are empty, and the only thing that’s truly FREE is the stupidity that got you here.

A single nuclear power plant produces as much power as 5000 wind turbines & does it when the wind is not blowing.
Donc: une seule centrale nucléaire produit sensiblement autant que la moitié des 10 000 éoliennes françaises. Cela permet de mieux réaliser l'absurdité du bilan intérêt/saccage des paysages de cette industrie parasite.

If men and women are so equal, get rid of women's sports. This would freak them out just like after claiming for years that climate change was settled science, a politician suggested that since it's settled they didn't need study it anymore and proposed cutting all funding.

On a bitterly cold winter morning, a husband and wife were listening to the radio during breakfast. They heard the announcer say, "We are going to have 8 to 10 inches of snow today. You must park your car on the even-numbered side of the street, so the snowplows can get through". So the wife went out and moved her car. A week later while they are eating breakfast again, the radio announcer said, "We are expecting 10 to 12 inches of snow today. You must park your car on the odd-numbered side of the street, so the snowplows can get through.” The wife went out and moved her car again. The next week they are again having breakfast, when the radio announcer says, "We are expecting 12 to 14 inches of snow today. You must park...." Just then the electric went out. The wife was very upset, and with a worried look on her face she said, "I don't know what to do. Which side of the street do I need to park on so the snowplows can get through?" Then, with the love and understanding in his voice that all men who are married to airheads exhibit, the husband replied, "Why don't you just leave the car in the garage this time?"

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Victor Borge was a great classical pianist and a comedic genius. [In case you missed my March 31, 2026 @troymedia syndicated column about Borge, see here: troymedia.com/arts-entertain….]
They don’t make pure comedies like this anymore. 😄

Can I call for this motherfucker to be executed for being a traitor? Is it okay if I get online and call for the execution of Scott Galloway because I think that he is actually a traitor? just asking questions. I’m not saying that it should happen like he’s saying it should happen to Elon. I’m just wondering is that OK now if I were to say, I think Scott Galloway should be executed for reasons?

Scott Galloway DOUBLES DOWN on his call for Elon Musk to be EXECUTED for being a “traitor to the West” “We took the Rosenbergs and put them up against a wall and executed them for being traitors.” “And I realize this is an incendiary statement, but I’ll make it and I believe it. I think Elon Musk is a traitor to the West.” Absolutely sickening.

Wow. And I mean wow... Scott Galloway has completely lost the plot, and his vile attack on Elon is fkn disgraceful. Calling Elon a “traitor to the West” is outrageous enough, but invoking the Rosenbergs, who were executed for Soviet espionage, and demanding he be held to the same standards... are you kidding me??? This crosses a line that no decent person should defend. After the assassination of Charlie Kirk and the attempts on Trump's life, he should know better than to make such reckless comments Elon has worked tirelessly, devoting his life to helping improve the lives of others. And remember, he was a champion for the Left for most of his professional adulthood - like so many democrats, he sided with Trump in 2024 only out of concern for open borders, chaos and lack of safety in many western cities, and runaway deficits. His concern in Ukraine was for the loss of millions of lives; that these stupid endless wars are futile and for nought - he was right!!! What pisses me off is that the big left election wave, which I largely celebrated (I am a libertarian who hates wars, despite my past support of Trump), COULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED WITHOUT FREE SPEECH and a platform like X. Given the total impotence of Bluesky and Threads, many lefties returned to X, and this very platform played a very pivotal role for all Democrat activists to make their voices heard. And what about our lives? Aren’t they better for Elon? He has helped revolutionise space exploration, transformed the electric vehicle industry, accelerated green energy, championed many liberal causes, and pioneered life-changing technology with Neuralink. Many of those achievements advance the very causes Democrats have spent decades claiming to be their platform. Like millions of people, and myself, Elon supported Trump's policies because he believed they offered a better future, not because he signed away his right to disagree with the president. And when Trump made the catastrophic mistake of escalating the war with Iran, many of us who supported the President felt profoundly betrayed. But since when did political disagreement become treason, and since when did supporting the wrong candidate justify comparisons to people executed for espionage? Scott is perfectly entitled to criticise Elon's decisions, but using political hatred to fuel moral superiority while invoking executions is a grotesque abuse of his platform. He owes Elon an unequivocal apology, a full retraction, and some serious reflection on the dangerous rhetoric he's helping normalise. Source: ZeroHedge

Ok, kids, take a look and create your own heading: Lake County Illinois voters strongly reject sales tax hike but... vote for Tax and Spend Governor to have a 3rd term.
Lake County Voters strongly rejected a countywide sales tax increase for education, 57-43. While overwhelmingly voting for JB Pritzker 66-30, who raised taxes over 60 times. The Lake County GOP came out against the tax increase and stopped over $120M/year in tax hikes. There are multiple lessons here.
