Freedom of Speech and the crusade against Social Media Suppression is important. -- How Charlie Kirk, a devout Christian, studied and applied Scientology and L Ron Hubbards philosophy to his life and to help his Country and helped it's people in a way and at a scale that is almost impossible to imagine. It came in direct response to Twitter adding fact-check labels to two of Trump’s tweets about mail-in voting. Key provisions included: Directing federal agencies to review and potentially limit Section 230 liability protections under the Communications Decency Act for platforms that engage in selective censorship or fail to act as neutral platforms. Instructing the FTC to examine unfair or deceptive practices by platforms. Reviewing federal advertising spending on platforms that restrict protected speech. Emphasizing free speech online as essential to democracy and criticizing viewpoint-based moderation.⁠NBC News Charlie Kirk (founder of Turning Point USA) was not listed as a formal attendee or drafter of this specific order in available records, unlike the 2019 campus free-speech order (EO 13864, “Improving Free Inquiry, Transparency, and Accountability at Colleges and Universities”), which he publicly urged and attended the signing of.
