We probably need to spend more time dissecting this Joe Wilson race. Zyon Khalifa raised less than $30,000 all cycle and came within a single point of unseating someone who has been in Congress since I was seven years old. Wilson won by 19 last time, in 2024.

Longer post coming later, but I have to say out loud that last night was ICONIC for South Carolina Democrats!! We shocked the country and flipped a U.S Senate seat! We flipped a Congressional seat, and another going to an automatic recount. We flipped 10 SC State House seats, a Solicitor seat and so much more. (Not to mention all the “nail bitters” all across the ballot!) And we did all of that with limited national investment. To every candidate who ran this year THANK YOU 🙏🏿, and just know you contributed to these outcomes. And it just goes to show you that hard work can and will eventually payoff!!!
