I think this is that liberal reporter from years ago who banged John Rocker
You can kind of see why @60Minutes left stuff like this on the cutting room floor.

I think I’ve tweeted about this before in college diving, but something has to be done to stop this thing where American colleges becoming training grounds for foreign athletes, taking spots from American kids. Especially shady in sports like running

These young people are disillusioned after getting their fourth masters degrees 😢
What’s happening in Paris and Milan is no surprise to anyone who has spent time around young people in Europe during the 2010s: Virtually all of them were working on their 4th masters degree in social welfare, were unmarried, attended communist dinners every night, and regularly participated in riots. Now the economy is suddenly transforming and they have nothing to show for it.

I’ve totally changed my opinion on hoa’s over the last year since we bought our house. This is pretty clearly a good way to keep out the riffraff who would travel to the neighborhood for the bigger candy bars
My HOA sent me a letter requesting that I stop handing out full-size candy bars for Halloween this year. -Fun-size bars are usually 15–25¢ each. -Full-size are around 75¢–$1. Most people give out 2–3 fun-size anyway, so the real difference is often only a few cents per kid. Am I crazy, or is it weird for an HOA to police this?

Funny to write out “Nobody is allowed to say anything” on a cropped tweet where she explicitly says the thing we’re not allowed to say
It’s sad that we all know exactly what this means but nobody is allowed to say anything

Look at him, thats my Qual. Your what? My Qualitative! My vibe specialist. Look at him, you notice anything different about him? Look at his face. I'll give you a hint, his name is Jayden. He won a local poetry competition in bushwick! Yeah I'm sure of the vibe.
Quant firms are hiring idea guys, not quants I've been skeptical about the whole - software is commoditized, ideas are the moat argument But I've seen first hand the best quant and technical firms in the world hire thinkers, liberal arts grads, and generalists I predict the trend accelerates Letter from @AQRCapital below

This is good (they shouldn’t be denied the Sacraments even as we kick em out) but it’s also infuriating when you remember that the Bishops didn’t do anything close to this over covid
JUST IN: Catholic Archdiocese sues Trump administration, alleging immigration detainees are being deprived of private confession, communion, & other sacraments.

“Do you not have a washer and dryer?”
If you want your clothes to last longer than 6 months and don’t want to walk around looking disheveled, laundry is actually a Herculean task and truly the most annoying part of running a house. It is constantly pilling up, you are forever drowning in it, just when you get through a load there’s now two more waiting for you somehow. If men were responsible for properly doing the laundry for an entire household they’d abandon their families en masse.

“Our smartest doctors order all the same tests as our dumb doctors, except they draw the line at extreme things like thyroid hormone and vitamin D, don’t want to be wasteful after all”
Medicare patients of general internists with higher Longitudinal Knowledge Assessment scores were significantly less likely to receive low-value services, underscoring the role of physician knowledge in reducing unnecessary care. ja.ma/4rhxtat

I think my kids could capture and devour a mouse. But they are never able to because we don’t have mice scurrying about inside our home

Throwback conspiracy theories
Reminded that there was an email chain in 2001 (meme for you young'uns) that said that the flight number was Q33NY and if you put that in Wingdings font you get:

Probably won’t happen but I wonder if the “haha I see his face everywhere!!” will eventually come to haunt liberals. Some sort of lady Macbeth source of torment thing
I need to see a neurologist
