LISTEN TO THE FULL INTERVIEW - link in my bio or YouTube: youtube.com/@DJNocturna I sat down with Homer Flynn, founding member of the Cryptic Corporation and longtime manager and spokesperson for The Residents. We talked about their upcoming shows at Blue Note Hawaii and the mystery that defines them. For nearly five decades, since the early seventies, The Residents have been icons of experimental music. They’ve pioneered everything from trance and world fusion to electronica, punk, industrial, and lounge. They’re also credited as originators of performance art and music videos. Hidden behind their signature giant eyeball masks and other striking disguises, you’ll never see their faces, but their art and music speak louder than any identity. They’re bringing their legendary production Eskimo to Hawaii for the very first time, live on stage at Blue Note Hawaii. The Residents will be performing live at the Blue Note Hawaii Sept 1 & Sept 2 . 7pm - SEE YOU THERE ! Bluenotehawaii.com #theresidentsband #bluenotehawaii #djnocturna #homerflynntheresidents
