Hey @BuffaloBills, students at the @WestIrondequoit CSD celebrated your success this season along with your upcoming game with some š! We will be cheering you on all weekend long. LETāS GO!!!!! šā¤ļøšā¤ļø
We have to take breaks from instruction to focus on our feelings and emotions, otherwise the instruction we teach is wasted. Sometimes, you gotta talk about it. Did I check everything off my plans today? No. Did the students recognize what theyāre in control of? Yes.

Iāve been grateful to attend conferences with wonderful keynote speakers, but @DennardMitchell was absolutely extraordinary. You had me engaged from the start! I truly do not have the right words for how amazing it was, but you left me feeling motivated and INSPIRED!
Writing Retreat at Buffalo State with the person who has had such a positive impact on not only my career as an educator but on my life. Beyond blessed and grateful. ā„ļøš

šThe first annual @GottfriedCrew beach clean-up was a big success on Saturday morning, as students from Mrs. Gottfried's fourth-grade class at Iroquois MS filled bags with garbage and debris at Durand Eastman Beach. @irondequoit_ny Supervisor Andrae Evans and former WICSD Board of Education member @Annieliz392 stopped by, along with a @News_8 camera.
"I donāt have enough words to explain my gratitude," says Mrs. Gottfried, who organized the event as part of her students' Stand-Up Project to foster change in our world. "I can promise you there will be a second annual clean-up next year! We already have some plans in place! The biggest thanks goes to the Gottfried Crew! They are the change-makers!"
Our first annual clean-up was a success and just incredible to witness! I have no words that will adequately sum up my gratitude for all involved and the support my crew and I received. When you have a passion project, stick with it. Itās worth it.
