The Ocean: Our Last Frontier - Our Best Hope!

Why is Kerala so much cleaner than much of the rest of India? Any thoughts @hvgoenka?
Munnar is breathtakingly beautiful. Endless carpets of tea, misty hills, winding roads, waterfalls and bursts of purple jacaranda. Sometimes we travel across the world in search of beauty and forget what lies in our own backyard.

Marvellous!
Never deleting this app. 20 year old Indian chad single handedly cleans up a trash filled river. Goes viral. @BoyanSlat pops up and offers him a job at @TheOceanCleanup.

Five generations of patriots dedicated to the service of the nation.
Mama, I last saw you and Papa together more than 35 years ago. Since the day Papa left, I have watched you face everything life threw at you with never-ending courage and dignity. Only Priyanka and I really know what you have been through, and how difficult your life after Papa truly was. I am happy, and so proud, that your story - “Belonging: A Journey of Love” - will finally be read by the millions of people who love you. I know how hard it was for someone as private as you to tell the world your beautiful story. Today, on his birthday, I can see Papa smiling and looking down proudly at his beautiful Sonia. Love, Rahul

Grasslands, shrublands, and savannahs cover nearly half of our land and are rich in life and history. Now under threat, they need restoration, including preserving native plants, local knowledge, and sustainable practices. #GenerationRestoration info: decadeonrestoration.org/type…

Traditional knowledge, passed down through generations, teaches us how to care for wetlands with respect, balance, and reciprocity. Protecting wetlands also means protecting culture, identity and future generations. Dayana Blanco Quiroga, Voice for Wetlands. worldwetlandsday.org #WWD2026 #CelebratingWetlands #WetlandsandCulture

On #WorldWetlandsDay, we pause to reflect on the critical role that healthy wetlands play in sustaining life. @WWF's Living Planet report shows that the greatest losses to biodiversity occur in the freshwater biome. That means our collective work on wetlands is absolutely essential to protecting wildlife, biodiversity and the services wetlands provide. Huge demand for the 🇨🇦 PM Carney speech. For good reasons. Here the video version. Compare it with the rambling and incoherent Trump 🇺🇸 performance today. youtube.com/watch?v=5CrL_l8J…

🌊The UN High Seas Treaty is now law—bringing the first real protections to the roughly half of our planet that lies beyond national borders. It enables marine protected areas, environmental impact checks, and fair sharing of ocean benefits. #HighSeas #BBNJ #OceanAction
