Proud to help launch CCF’s robotic transplant program. This milestone reflects the dedication of an extraordinary multidisciplinary team and the support of an institution willing to thoughtfully invest in the future of transplant surgery. Here’s to many more!
We performed our first robotic lung transplant in the U.S., expanding a minimally invasive option for patients.
The approach uses small incisions to help reduce pain and support faster recovery.
Every transplant depends on the generosity of organ donors.

Late post for a fantastic meeting at #ESTS2026 in Athens. Great to catch up with mentors like @BrendonStilesMD and share our work from @CleClinicHVTI on the staging continuum in esophageal cancer patients. Stay tuned for the upcoming manuscript in @EACTS_Journals 📝

Should we be screening our esophagectomy patients for VTE? Our data suggests that lower extremity duplex screening may mitigate the expected VTE-related negative outcomes. @CleClinicHVTI @AATSHQ #AATS2025

I'm disappointed that yet again, in a TV segment about health screening for women, #lungcancer screening was left out. Today, it was the @TODAYshow that missed an opportunity to teach women about lung cancer screening. More women die of lung cancer than from any other cancer. #lungcancerscreening saves lives!!
