"State of Emergency" came out my freshman year of college...
In his book, “State of Emergency” Pat says that:
- Texas would turn blue because of immigration from the 3rd world.
- America is not a creedal nation
- Europe would eventually quit reproducing and would become “Eurabia,” a colony of the Middle East.
- Assimilation has failed and that we risk creating a Balkanized America where there are cultural enclaves who only advocate for their ethnic interests.
@RepRileyMoore Can we get that Medal of Freedom done?
First of all... no where in this thread did I mention it's changing America for the worse, just that it's changing America.
If you want to get into "worse" like welfare costs, crime statistics, overall costs on citizens, etc that come with different immigrant groups, we can talk about that if you like.
I've just stated that the demographics have changed and will continue to change this country into something different. It already has. I don't think thats ok.
Wanting to keep my country as it has been for 100s of years is somehow wrong?
"what gives you the rightful claim" question... Immigration policy does.
What i've stated in all of these post is that our is broken and allowed such an influx that its changed the very fabric of our nation. We are no longer what made us, what brought us here. That is bad imo.
Hence demographics are destiny.

Well I’m happy to see you so confident you’d be welcomed and embraced in another country, while assuming immigrants coming here are changing America for the worse. That’s quite the entitlement. 😂
Remember when we were implementing DOGE to help cut spending and eliminate fraud in the government and then we pivoted to “what can I do for Jew” and bombed Iran.
Great question…
Everyone should travel, see the world, experience different cultures and if they happen to fall in love with a place move there... ifs it's allowed and they do it properly.
I've been bless to go all over this amazing globe... what made some of those places so amazing were the different cultures. Those cultures were made by the people there.
Bali, a small piece of indonesia, has been so overrun with westerners that they have implemented new laws for tourists/visa stays because of how drastically its changed. (at least they enforce their visas)
Hell, take anywhere... lets say El Salvador with 6.5 million people... if you all of a sudden took another 6 million people from Ireland and flooded it there, it wouldn't be El Salvador anymore.
If you took all of japans population and placed it somewhere else, that place would become japan.
Immigrants work/bring in new flavor and ideas and are a benefit in a system that can handle it... not one thats been turned into a welfare state and left the door open for 50 years. Our govt/system/overall demand for things in this country can't handle that.
76 million (this is what they will say out loud, i'm sure its more) immigrants have come here since 1965... thats 23% of the population.
Right now 1 out of 4 babies born in America are to foreign born mothers. ( again what they will say out loud).
So forgive me If Im supposed to sit back and think this is ok while my country crumbles, and the demographics that made it are erased.
ps... love these convos 😉

Curious here. Aren’t you making plans to eventually settle or move to El Sav? What gives you the rightful claim to do that but not immigrants into the US?
Who could have seen the Texas outcome?
Demographics are destiny. Period.
Texas is a microcosm of the rest of the US and I’m glad it’s getting a lot of attention finally…
Texas, widely considered one of the greatest states for its booming economy and friendly business opportunities, rich history and friendly people, affordable cost of living, so on and so on.
How long can a place rest on its laurels before it starts to turn?
What’s changing?
1) Relentless immigration from her southern border over the decades has drastically changed her demographics (among other things discussed below)…
From 75% white pre Hart-Celler act to less than 40% today
2) Immigration from failing states… 1.5 - 2 million people from just California have moved to Texas this century, they bring with them their ideals/policies/votes that created the atmosphere they just escaped from. Look no further than the the current election landscape.
3) Selling out American labor for cheaper foreign work via the Hb1 program has brought in almost 600,000 Indians to Texas over the years.
States all over the union are getting ambushed the same way Texas has been… just look at the Heartland Visa program.
Texas imo is lost, you can’t allow that much change and expect to be the same place… but what you need to see is that’s the strategy aimed at every state of the union.
Insane that foreign aid is even a concept to a country that is 40 trillion in debt.
All while politicians are running on taking more of your tax dollars that they “need” while foreign aid is still pouring out.
9 of America’s top 10 foreign aid recipients voted against us more than with us at the UN.
Jordan takes $1.74 billion and votes against America 52-24.
Ethiopia, Somalia, Nigeria, Kenya, same thing.
Billions of our money, then they stab us in the back every chance they get.
Literally funding our own opposition.
Duke basketball starts tonight… about the only bit of sports ball I still pay attention to.
Going to be a fun season.
El Salvador news... finally got a budget for lot plans I can work with.
It would be dope to have something being done on the lot by the new year.

Civil war is a* solution… and a final one.
There are 2 others:
1) Vote our way out… logically almost impossible at this point. Demographics have changed too much in too many areas to gain any meaningful ground for change in the long run. That’s before going up against a cancerous and corrupt govt for said change.
2) Concentrated migration of our people within these borders to a state or neighboring states to consolidate power and protects ourselves from the rest. Build legislative and physical wallls, then divorce this country.
3) Last resort… Civil War would still need to be from an area that we have migrated to, so that we have consolidated power and strength in a stronghold
Either way we need #2 and we it’s to start now.
I harp on it all the time... the fact that our founding fathers and the conversations of their day are not talked about and celebrated almost daily in America is close to insanity to me.
It's absolutely insanity that it isn't discussed at length in basic american education.
We were blessed with some of the greatest minds of history and the last few decades have been more about tearing down their statues and replacing their names on buildings and institutions.
We fucking deserve the collapse
Great minds…
Imagine if in the US as America’s boomer population is starting to die out…
Home supply would start to flood the market, lowering prices across the country…
Creating an environment for young people to buy homes, own property and start families…
Instead we’ve imported 50-100 million people in the last 30 years so fuck your home owner dreams…
Oh and we destroyed even manual labor jobs for Americans with cheap labor from our southern border…
That’s ok we have tech jobs and medical, “Americans don’t want to do those other jobs” (absolute bullshit stance btw)…
No those tech and medical jobs are being flooded via our H-1b1 program that encourages firing of American workers for cheaper foreign workers.
Yes, we’ve could have had a natural ebb and flow of things but elites and govt types always think they can fix issues.
Any business that is successful and/or grows, as almost a law of physics, is going to either lower your costs or make your life easier on you… and you’ll still have the choice to opt in.
Quite the opposite…even if you believed your govt to be benevolent (it’s not)… government growth/“success” almost always comes at a cost to citizens.
There is nothing the govt does better than private… we used to be able to at least say outer space, the moon or other planets just had to be done by govt but time has only proved that that too is better in the hands of private (cheaper, more efficient, faster progress)
Todays workout:
Build up hang clean to a good weight.
Rounds:
.25 mile run
10 hang cleans
10 toes to bar.
🫡
Again... the dumbest of the dumb have 0 capability of second order consequence. Then they get to vote with that handicap.
How do you think most billionaires became billionaires Evan?
By making your life easier or bills easier or both most likely and you gobbled it up by choice!
Jobs, Bezo, Elon I'm sure are the first villains* that come to mind
Just a little more taxes bro and we can turn it around
It’s just a little more from what you have built and left over from the money and assets you’ve attained, that have been taxed at every fucking turn of your life and you wanted to leave behind to your family after you die.
If Democrats win the Senate and the House next Tuesday, one concrete goal should be estate tax reform that:
1) lowers the exemption from $15M to (say) $5M per person, and
2) ends "step-up basis," which lets capital gains built up over a lifetime escape income tax entirely at death.
My very rough estimate is that this could raise around $100B a year more than current law (happy to be corrected if the number is off).

Demographics are destiny… this thread is brutal for this who are denying reality
Again, you’re not saving this country as a whole imo
You’re absolutely not saving it as a whole if there isn’t a concentrated movement to consolidate power somewhere and start to exert that force outward.
You’ve been invaded and the lines have broken all around you.
Fucking act like it!
