Jerry Stackhouse used to sing the national anthem before NBA games.
As fans put it on the web, “I had no idea Stackhouse had pipes like that.” or “My boy sang in church”
Stack turns 52 today. From Kinston and UNC to the No. 3 pick in 1995, he became a two-time NBA All-Star.

I still stand by my take that Muggsy has maybe the most impressive NBA career of all time. First round pick at 5’3, playing that long in a time when the league was very physical. You’ll never see someone his size in the nba again, let alone a 1st round pick.
Muggsy Bogues breaks down in tears during the press conference about his upcoming Charlotte @hornets jersey retirement.
Muggsy reflected on the support from his hometown of Baltimore, Maryland and Dunbar High School after the announcement of his honor.

The NBA was so primitive before like 2014. You could be a dwarf with no jumpshot and they didn’t know how to scheme against you

Pooh Shiesty is confined to a jail cell for 23 hours a day, and his attorney says the rapper's mental health is being affected.
On Thursday (Oct. 15), Pooh's attorney filed an emergency motion asking a judge to intervene regarding the rapper's confinement conditions at Rolling Plains Regional Jail in Haskell, Texas. According to the motion, Pooh is on a 23-hour lockdown and is only getting two hours of visitation a month. Pooh's attorney says that Pooh hasn't committed any infractions that would prompt the "inhumane" conditions he is being held in.
"Because these conditions are not reasonably related to any legitimate governmental objective, and because the isolation in particular is adversely affecting Mr. Williams’s mental health, he requests that this Court order the Marshals Service to require RPRJ to bring Mr. Williams’s conditions of confinement into line with the standards applicable to federal pretrial detainees generally," the motion reads.
The judge has yet to rule on the motion. Pooh Shiesty's attorney, Kent Schaffer, tells XXL: "The order has not been signed yet but hopefully will be soon. There is no reason to house him under inhumane conditions. He would not be treated this bad after a conviction so certainly he shouldn’t be while presumed innocent."
Pooh Shiesty is currently awaiting trial after being arrested in April for federal kidnapping charges. Prosecutors say Pooh, his father, Big30 and six other men kidnapped and robbed Gucci Mane at a Dallas recording studio in January. Pooh has pleaded not guilty and has been denied bond. His trial is scheduled to begin on Feb. 22, 2027.

Dominant offensive rebounding performance from Florida State freshman Marcis Ponder
The 7-0, 285 pound freshman was ultra dominant crashing the glass using his monster frame to bully Auburn’s frontcourt
Ponder had 13 points, 21 rebounds (12 offensive rebounds) 3 blocks, 83% at the line, in just 25 minutes
Brought tremendous effort on both ends, had better processing today, capable free throw shooter, draws a lot of contact and was a massive boost for Luke Loucks squad.
