Why are you still here? You said you would leave the UK if Boris became PM. That was in 2019 - when are you going?
Fear stopped me from going to the Macklemore Free Palestine concert. I now regret that. The govt is throttling support for Palestnians. This was one key issue in the US elections. Lessons for Burnham. My column inews.co.uk/opinion/protest-…

Excellent news. Now make sure his mother serves her full stint.
Henry Nowak’s killer has received a longer jail sentence after judges ruled that he subjected his victim to “incomprehensible cruelty”. Vickrum Digwa, 23, stabbed Nowak, 18, five times in December last year. Nowak was handcuffed and arrested by police officers as he lay dying after Digwa falsely alleged that the student had racially abused him. The lady chief justice, Baroness Carr, sitting with Mr Justice Nicklin and Mr Justice Wall, said that the initial sentence “did not adequately reflect the overall seriousness of the murder”. Carr said: “It was not only lenient, but unduly so.”

Narrator, "Nadia voted against a rape gang inquiry aiming to help those who bravely reported abuse but were ignored by the system."
Solidarity with every woman who bravely reported, endured the long wait for trial, and gave evidence in court against Russell Brand. Especially those who did not receive justice today. Everyone with a basic understanding of the criminal justice system knows that just because the verdict was "not guilty", it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. All we know is that the jury could not be certain “beyond all reasonable doubt”. I want to say directly to the victims: thank you and I believe you. Millions of us do.

I’ve worked with some fantastic journalists in my 29 years on the job. My pride at @Gabriel_Pogrund knows no bounds for example. But what @RosamundUrwin had to go through to get the Brand allegations past the lawyers and over the line is of a different order from anything I’ve ever achieved in this job. She is brave, principled, a great reporter, a beautiful writer and a gutsy human being. I am frankly proud to know her let alone call her a friend. The KC who lost his rag earlier should rot in hell

Matilda, the youngest victim of the Bondi massacre, would have turned 11 tomorrow Eva Geller, 90, a Holocaust survivor, succumbed from her wounds today. From a 10-year-old girl to a Holocaust survivor, they were targeted for one reason and one reason only … they were Jews!

I haven't been on this site for a bit. But I haven't seen anyone share the photo the New Statesman staff staged in 2013 of Russell Brand as Christ, and themselves as his disciples. It seems to have been scrubbed from the web. It made me angry then and it makes me angry now.

You are revolting.
Replying to @GrunwaldSpier
Israelis literally used their own kids, young ravers, as human shields on October 7th. Rave was extended to be sure it was still there when the reported incoming attack occurred.

Have you seen the way the deputy leader of the UK Green Party is dressed? Completely covered in black -you can just see her eyes. It's appalling.
Abdul El-Sayed and his wife. He wears jeans and tight shirts, while she has to dress like a Bedouin from the 7th century. This is what women’s oppression looks like.

Since October 7th, Taylor Swift made ZERO mentions of the massacre where beheaded babies were put in ovens at the hands of Hamas terrorists. However, she did make the time to attend a Gaza fundraiser with Selena Gomez When will you attend a fundraiser for Israel @taylorswift13?

To be honest there is absolutely nothing dignified about wrapping a woman up from head to toe with only her eyes visible because some randy male can't control himself. Where is the self-respect for either sex in that?
Imagine a society where people truly understood and practised the modesty Islam encourages. There would be more dignity, self-respect and discipline. Islam reminds us that modesty is not just for women, it is an obligation for both men and women.

I was born in 1969, so I’ve lived long enough to recognise that a religion that throws homosexuals from buildings, treats women as chattel, and offers unbelievers the choice of conversion or death...has no place in my world.

Oh wise one. Zionism started around 1900 - so the world was full of peace before 1900 was it?
Zionism is a cancer eating away at world peace.

Are we surprised? Strange to see the words Burnham, Culture and Russell Brand all in the same sentence.
Andy Burnham was Culture Secretary when Russell Brand brought the BBC into disrepute with his misogynistic voicemail about Andrew Sachs's daughter. He never once criticised Brand. Later he told him to "keep going".

More to the point, how many Muslims have met a Jew? What does 'yall' mean?
Most of yall that hate Muslim, haven’t ever met one.

I feel sorry for Brand's children - what a terrible fate.
Ed Miliband’s judgement is second to none. Whether it’s Brand, the pro-paly mob or the Iranian regime, he nails it every time. One of the most incompetent politicians of his generation.

Yes it never used to happen. Yes it is very rude and puerile.
I utterly sick of the experts and contestants on #bargainhunt yelling out auction to bid more. It's not endearing, it's just rude.
