Fair play to Shabana Mahmood here, she answers the question very well - and she’s right, Brexit has nothing to do with the dinghies coming - 80,000 illegal migrants (that we know of) came to Britain in 2002/3 in the backs of lorries and vans - they weren’t returned!!

Your view is absolutely correct. As a tradesmen my income reduced by 50-60% due to free movement. Since leaving the EU it has risen by the same amount.

Remember when Healey and Burnham made a big deal about going to the pub and having a pint together just weeks ago?
We all thought they were trying to be men of the people.
Turns out they were actually just sizing up your pint for more taxes.
Here is the Home Secretary back in February contradicting Andy Burnham's claims today.
She confirmed that the small boats have NOTHING to do with Brexit - and that the Dublin returns scheme did not work.
She also noted that we never knew how many were arriving in lorries...
Interesting difference between the PM and his Home Secretary over Brexit and small boats.
Andy Burnham today blamed the crisis on Britain losing its EU returns agreement after Brexit but Shabana Mahmood has previously rejected that argument.
She told the Home Affairs Committee in February: "I am sure there are lots of other debates to be had about the rights and wrongs of Brexit, but is Brexit responsible for the boats? I do not think that is true...
“The idea that this has happened because we have lost the access to Dublin and the returns agreement with the EU - I think that is too much of a stretch.”
In September, she went further, arguing that under Britain's one-in, one-out deal with France “more returns have happened than ever was the case under the Dublin arrangements, when we were still members of the EU".
She also warned that it was “a mistake to see the EU’s new pact as some sort of new silver bullet” that would eliminate Britain's migration problems.
'Andy Burnham wants mass migration - he doesn't care about Makerfield, he didn't care about Leigh, he says whatever is convenient for him to say.'
@Jacob_Rees_Mogg attacks the Prime Minister for his ever-changing stance on Brexit and free movement as speech unearthed from 2016.
Leave aside the historic silliness of his statement, he then goes on to claim “a smaller economy, fewer jobs”, neither of which is true in London or nationally, something the BBC would label misinformation if claimed in the other direction.
'Leaving the European Union was the biggest act of economic self harm any country has ever committed'
Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, told #BBCBreakfast Andy Burnham 'is spot on' about having an "honest discussion" ove the prospect of returning to free movement between the UK and European Union

I asked Labour MP Dawn Butler why she's demanding my constituents pay more tax to fund "reparations".
She wouldn't answer, but called me a "racist" in the Commons.
It's not right to make people pay "reparations" when they've done nothing wrong. Name-calling doesn't change that.

Genuine question: can anyone please explain what’s supposed to be so wrong about our EU relationship?
We still have a free trade deal with them & are free to strike free trade deals globally now.
But we don’t have to accept free movement of people nor pay them billions in fees.

The whole biodiesel quota is a massive scam. We are adulterating petrol with crops that could be used for food, because no one imagined that electric cars would be a thing.
