Another good piece from our boy Monty. Come for the Trey love, stay for the Whitney references. Check it.

Great conversation last night about a satisfying victory, some mixed performances and the emergence of Trey Nyoni as a genuine contender for a first team place:

Latest piece from me on a stand-out performance from young Trey Nyoni that announced his arrival as first team player:

Some really good stuff last night. Great chat about an enjoyable result...then someone has to go and spoil it by suggesting playing Darwin Nunez as a full-back.
Pod from last night. Not the most entertaining of games but still lots of talking points. Chris, Stu and myself on this one.

I've though for a while that if at any point over the last few years you'd have swapped out Bruno Fernandes for James Milner and Jordan Henderson they would be in much better shape as a club now.
So much of the decline seems to be about culture in the dressing room.
The best performance of the day in the division was from a loan signing that another big team didn't want. Who played with heart.
Utd is just packed top to bottom with stupid and lazy. It's not about money.

What a performance that was today by Araujo.
It's always nice when you look for the positives in a signing and it comes to fruition. Serious showing by #LFC today against a good side.

Enjoyed being back in the mix with the lads last night. Not really sure how I can push the pod and keep Dave's big surprise intro a secret unfortunately. Good chat on the game and a bit about Wirtz following yesterday's piece.
Pod from last night. Myself and Chris, plus a long awaited return from an old favourite as we wax lyrical about Rio's virtuoso display and a third straight win in the CL.

For anyone that hasn't seen the MNF clip referenced in my latest piece then it's here. Really good stuff from @Carra23. Now they just need to start getting into expected threat models to really show who is bringing the attacking heat.
Plenty of debate this week about Florian Wirtz and his creative output for #LFC. Thought I'd give my take on what has been a good week for the player, and the club:

There’s no “process” to be waiting for
If you are found guilty of murder, you go immediately to prison, where your legal team may initiate an appeal process
You don’t get to hang out in your yacht until the 37years of appealing as run its course

Not gonna be a pod or a match report. I’m not further legitimising that sham we experienced yesterday and pretending its a real game.
Normal service resumed on Wednesday.

Idea for a new game. It’s basically the same rules as chess but if you’ve regenerated some of the local area you get to just kick all the opponent’s pieces over.

Can someone explain to the Prime Minister that this is the report. This is it. The wrongdoing has been established. There is no additional report. There is no second chapter.
There may end up being bullshit and accommodations and appeals but the report is not End of Part One.
NEW Downing Street issues fresh statement on Man City case in an attempt to clarify Andy Burnham's comments to @ChrisMasonBBC yesterday
A No 10 spokesperson said:
“As the Prime Minister made clear, the initial judgement is serious and there can’t be any suggestion that anyone is above the rules. He also stressed that it is an ongoing independent process. It is essential that it is allowed to run its course and the outcome respected.
“If wrongdoing is established, those responsible should face the appropriate consequences.“
