Bill, Pete Caroll, Gary Kubiak, and Doug Pederson all won rings more recently and all got fucking fired more recently. End it!

Undrafted rookie OLB Ethan Burke earned the Ravens highest defensive PFF grade against Cincinnati: 78.5.
Burke recorded three tackles and a QB hit on just 17 defensive snaps.
An under-the-radar performance.

The Ravens made a notable pass-rush adjustment against Cincinnati.
Mike Green played a season-high 67.9% of defensive snaps, including 31 from the left side.
Trey Hendrickson rushed exclusively from the right on all 32 of his snaps.
Sources: The #Chiefs are signing veteran K Justin Tucker to their practice squad, as @SamMcDowell11 first reported.
It actually is an attack on success to take over 50 percent of someone’s income for them having worked harder, longer, and achieved more. You are actively punishing enterprising, intelligence, creativity, and persistence by doing that. Tax property not labor. Property is far more dependent on the state for appreciation, improvement, and security.

Nobody is suggesting people shouldn’t enjoy the rewards of hard work, take luxury holidays or send their children to private schools. But a household earning £436,000 a year is comfortably within the top 1% of UK households. That’s an extraordinarily privileged financial position, however hard they’ve worked to achieve it. Recognising that isn’t an attack on success, nor is asking those with the broadest shoulders to contribute more. And surely the answer to poor state schools is to improve them, not simply accept that a good education should depend on parental wealth?

Trade: Colts are sending three-time Pro-Bowl DT DeForest Buckner back to the 49ers, the team that made him a 2016 first-round pick before dealing him to Indianapolis in 2020, per me and @rapsheet. Now Buckner returns to San Francisco, fortifying the 49ers defensive line.
Man I get it his play has warranted it but I cannot for the life of me remember the last time a Raven in year one of signing on a big or medium money deal was benched for terrible play for good

The Ravens were not listed among the teams that reportedly showed "varying levels of interest" in former-Colts and now-Seahawks OL Quenton Nelson, per @JFowlerESPN
Fowler listed the Packers, Bears and Eagles as the teams that reportedly were among those that showed interest

I’d steer clear of comparing the compensation of Jurgens and Nelson. Jurgens is under contract on a team friendly deal until 2029 whereas Nelson is about to sign a massive contract
What’s funny with all of this is despite so many bad FA signings in the last 2 years and his ass backwards defensive philosophy this is also the best group of WRs Lamar has ever had. Also when Vega is healthy it will likely be the best OL he’s had outside of 2019.
Fascinating he’s fucking up so badly in so many ways but importantly he’s actually handed Lamar a top 10 group of WRs and a decent OL (purely in theory at the moment).
That doesn’t absolve him of his sins obviously. You would never expect me to say that anyways… they are a long group of sins: Mark Andrews extension, Hawkins signing, Simpson signing, Awuzie Re-signing, the way he handed C post Linderbaum and Guard post Marshall Yanda/Powers, etc etc
We were never going to bench John Simpson and the Colts would’ve wanted a 3rd or 4th to take his money on.
Vega’s injury is short term. Grade 1 McL sprain so that’s not serious enough to give impetus to such a move.
I’d have loved a Q acquisition btw #RavensFlock
