.@AbdulElSayed has come up short on Iran, at best, describing the war as stupid & expensive. Is that how he’d explain the genocide of Palestinians? Of course not - it would be callous & absurd. This war is wrong not just bcz of gas prices. Its wrong bcz it is immoral & criminal
Remember: El-Sayed didn't have to say this. He could have simply explained that regardless of his personal feelings on the man, the US should not assassinate a sitting head of state.
Instead, he expressed glee at watching Iran's supreme leader - a widely revered religious leader for millions of Shias globally - be executed with his family in broad daylight by F-15s at standoff range.
If he actually wants to bring an end to the endless US-Israeli occupation of the Middle East, now is that time to make that clear.

O presidente da mais alta corte de Justiça da Bolívia, Romer Saucedo, fugiu do país nesta quinta-feira (5) após a emissão de um mandado de prisão por tráfico de drogas contra si. O Ministério Público disse que vai acionar a Interpol para que haja uma busca internacional pelo juiz.
Desde outubro, vários altos funcionários do sistema judiciário foram detidos por supostos vínculos com o tráfico de drogas. Entre eles está o ex-procurador-geral Roger Mariaca, preso dias depois de os Estados Unidos cancelarem seu visto e o de vários funcionários e empresários da Bolívia, Colômbia, Peru e Equador.
Em comunicado, Saucedo disse sofrer perseguição do governo do presidente Rodrigo Paz, de centro-direita. "Deixei o país, estou com toda a minha família no exílio", anunciou Saucedo pela manhã, na rede social X. Presidente do Tribunal Supremo de Justiça, a mais alta instância da Justiça comum —na Bolívia, existe ainda o Tribunal Constitucional Plurinacional, que analisa questões relativas à Carta do país.
Saucedo também denunciou "tentativas de perseguição e intimidação" por parte do governo: "Sei que vão forjar provas para me desacreditar".
À tarde, o procurador-geral interino, José Armando Urioste, nomeado pelo Congresso após a prisão de Mariaca, disse à imprensa que o órgão havia emitido, no dia anterior, uma ordem de prisão por "tráfico de substâncias controladas e associação criminosa". (Folha)
