U.S. Navy ships have fled the Strait of Hormuz and coast of Iran, fearing attacks by the country. US CENTCOM, however, continues to claim that it is in “control” of a Strait that it is hundreds of KMs away from, closer to Pakistan than to Iran
I just found a U.S. Navy destroyer assigned to the USS George Washington CSG on Sentinel-2 satellite imagery, 17/10/2026.
The vessel is sailing off the coast of Pakistan, in the northern Arabian Sea, approximately 400km from Iran.
As I told you about a month ago, American carrier strike groups in the CENTCOM AOR no longer venture near the Gulf of Oman, instead, they operate hundreds of kilometers away from the so called "naval blockade line."

Netanyahu could remain Israel’s prime minister even if Gadi Eisenkot wins Tuesday’s election, with polls suggesting neither bloc will secure a parliamentary majority.
Netanyahu is pushing for a unity government with Eisenkot, potentially sharing the premiership through a rotation agreement, an idea discussed by Trump allies.
Eisenkot has publicly rejected such a deal, but Netanyahu has privately offered to abandon his far-right coalition partners.
If negotiations fail, Netanyahu could remain caretaker prime minister until another election.

As a result of the genocide, apartheid & militarization of Israeli society, many Jewish Israelis have weapons and are armed to the teeth. Combine that with claims already being made by Bibi that the election has been “stolen” & the chances of violence breaking out seems high /n
I want to be 1000% clear. I am aware that whoever wins the Israeli elections nothing really changes.
I personally want to see Netanyahu OUT because the one thing he loves is POWER and I want him to lose that. I want to see him FAIL.

The meeting in Tehran was a big PR win for Iran. Major regional powers went to Tehran to ask for help on Yemen. And Iran likely laid out it terms for that help. It could yield results.
Inviting Iran to join Mecca Alliance as some had anticipated did not happen. In fact Iran is calling the meeting the Tehran Summit. It sounds like Iran is envisioning a different regional arrangement one that Iran wants to define and play a central role in. And per Rezaie’s comments after the meeting Iran’s vision which is clearly aimed at keeping US out if the region does not easily square with the relations of the three Mecca Alliance partners with US.

BREAKING: Netanyahu's Likud has just submitted a request to extend voting hours beyond 10pm in Israel's election, per Channel 12.
Turnout stood at 55.7% at 4pm, up 8 points on the same hour in 2022 and the highest ever recorded.
It comes as Trump allies are secretly cutting a deal to keep Netanyahu in power even if he loses the election, with Trump backing a unity government.

If nobody makes a deal, Israel holds another election, and Netanyahu stays PM.
International audience gives Eisenkot 58% chance to make a deal, and Netanyahu 27%, but inside the colony it's much closer to a tie.

Adalah, the Legal Center for Arab Minority Rights in the Israel occupation, said the occupation’s Supreme Court rejected its petition to ban firearms inside polling stations ahead of the occupation’s October 27 elections.
￭ The Likud and Religious Zionism parties planned to deploy around 2,000 “observers” to polling stations in Palestinian towns and mixed cities, including those carrying firearms, according to Adalah.
￭ Adalah also warned that armed settler groups could intimidate Palestinian voters, in 1948 occupied territories, and undermine their right to participate freely.

Israeli settlers deliberately sabotaging voting at polling stations in Palestinian towns

Knesset member and Ta’al party leader Ahmad Tibi accused Israeli settlers of intentionally delaying the voting process across Palestinian towns during parliamentary elections.
In a statement posted on social media, Tibi revealed that organized groups of settlers entered Palestinian towns to disrupt operations at local polling centers, deliberately causing extreme delays and forcing voters to endure hours-long lines. The lawmaker noted that the artificial congestion caused a sick Palestinian woman to faint while waiting in line to cast her ballot.
Tibi condemned the disruptions as a desperate tactic to suppress Palestinian voter participation and manipulate the outcome of the general election.
Addressing those attempting to derail the vote, the veteran politician emphasized that the community would not be deterred by political intimidation, writing: "It won’t help you. People will stay there until they cast their votes."

NEW: Canadian government officials sought approval from their American counterparts before releasing parts of a damning report about how the CIA resettled alleged Nazi war criminals in Canada, documents show.

Jordan's king instructed the air force to carry out retaliatory strikes on Syria following the church attack, but most victims are children and women.
Damascus has expressed concerns as the Jordanian airstrikes were carried out without any prior coordination with them.

BREAKING: Yemen’s Houthis have reportedly struck Saudi Arabia’s largest oil refinery at Ras Tanura with a ballistic missile, triggering a fire at one of the Kingdom’s most critical oil export hubs, per Bloomberg.
Ras Tanura is the cornerstone of Saudi oil exports, housing a refinery with a 550,000 barrel-per-day capacity and a terminal that handled over 5 million barrels daily before the war. With Yanbu on the Red Sea already hit, Saudi Arabia’s two main export arteries are now under fire.
It comes as Riyadh reportedly offered Yemen’s Houthis $1 billion through Iran to halt attacks on the Kingdom, but the Houthis struck the kingdom's most vital terminal anyway.
