Is $INTC about to be “super successful?” When they were asked on their July 23rd earnings call about the need to raise capital, which they are doing this morning with their $15B common stock offering, this is how the CFO answered: “we feel like we're in a really good place from a balance sheet perspective. We have over $30 billion of cash. We have a $10 billion revolver. So, we've got $40 billion of liquidity… Obviously, the fact that revenue and profitability and EBITDA are all expanding helps a lot in terms of the cash flow that throws off to the business. And additionally, we have… roughly, call it $10 billion of what it's called non-core assets that can still be monetized on the balance sheet… And we have seen, by the way, our customers willing to invest with us. And we've had pre-pays from customers… that has enabled us to unlock capacity that's helped us. That said, if we're super successful, which we're driving to, we may need to tap the capital markets to drive…some more investment.”
My belief of what “super-successful” means is they are close to signing up one or more major foundry customers, which is very capital intensive, and they need a lot more capacity to ramp it. I expect more details from industry sources to come out over time given a press release is unlikely given the secrecy demanded by most customers.
I believe with Intel, there are multiple ways to win: 1) higher ratio of CPUs to GPUs in Agentic, 2) advanced packaging and 3) US national champion in foundry. This offering today increases my conviction they are on the path to being “super successful.”

Masa explains the strategic importance of $INTC at the #Softbank AGM:
@Intel is of strategic importance to the US govt. Under national security $INTC will be nurtured. $TSM has the risk of being in #Taiwan. $AAPL $NVDA have signed on with @Intel_Foundry. More will follow.
What was the strategic rationale for investing in Intel? It's been six months since we invested in Intel. JPY 300 billion we invested. Right after the investment, a lot of criticism. "Why Intel?" People said that. "What happened? What are they looking at?" We've been criticized. Why Intel? Especially among the specialists and those who are familiar with this industry, criticized a lot. In six months, Intel actually became five times or six times bigger. Market cap already seen the bit of in a trillion level. In the world, chips hub manufacturing makers, wafers to chips, that foundry, TSMC in Taiwan is overwhelmingly number one right now. The second is Intel. The third is Samsung in Korea. Intel in the U.S., it is second, but still there is a big gap from the top one.
Under the national security initiatives, the U.S. Intel has to be nurtured more, enhanced more. Under such were the circumstances and considering the situation in Taiwan, Intel had to be reinforced and put more focus on. That is why we also invested in Intel. There will be more and more important roles for Intel. Right now you see Apple, NVIDIA, all these big names are signing contract or planning to sign contract with Intel. It has been announced. That is why its share price has increased fivefolds or sixfolds.

$INTC Intel is about to have its $MU Micron moment and it is fundamentally sound bullish theory, on 3 fronts:
1. The CPU shortage is real and Intel themselves confirmed that their issue is not demand (they have immense demand), it is supply.
- When their supply constraints on execution are resolved rather quickly (Q2), margins will greatly improve for the books (18A shipped Panther Lake)
2. Rising demand for cost effective, margin improving chips is also real. Hyperscalers and other customers are, and will, continue looking for ways to scale models that provide TCO improvements, while not sacrificing immensely on performance. Intel provides this solution the best with Xeon. While $NVDA and $AMD strive to make chips more powerful alongside rising costs on already expensive chips, not everyone is going to be ready to pay that premium indefinitely, no matter what people tell you. Business is business. ROI matters.
3. The Foundry bottleneck against the hedge of a monopoly with increasingly limited capacity. $TSM cannot deliver everything, everywhere, all at once. Oh and did I mention geopolitical risk still exists? No one is going to wait around without plan B. Intel Foundry may never be more than a #2 in the fab department, but also, it shouldn’t strive to be. Execute. Customers are there. We all know they have them. Only a matter of time before this is validated.

3 takeaways from @Intel at #CES2026:
1. #IntelCoreUltra Series 3 drops Jan. 27 with great battery life.
2. Level up gaming with discrete-level graphics (and custom chip for handhelds).
3. Robotics designers are choosing Intel Core Ultra Series 3 over discrete GPUs for edge AI.

$INTC is ramping 18A on Panther Lake
Worlds first 2nm class semiconductor node.
Months ahead of $TSM.
$INTC is in volume production while we're yet to see a working end customer product from $TSM
That's a huge feat by the @Intel engineers
Kicking off CES: Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan announces that Intel shipped its first Intel 18A product and is ramping all three #IntelCoreUltra Series 3 die packages. Intel 18A is the world’s first foundry node with RibbonFET + PowerVia, enabling lower power and higher density at scale. #IntelCES

This is the year of the $INTC Intel comeback.
Why?
Foundry is the theme. And it's not just a dream.
It is reality.
Believe it or hate it: Intel's foundry will crank out the most advanced silicon and packaging on the planet for every high-stakes use case, in the United States, with US IP.
- AI accelerators (TPUs, DPUs, NPUs)
- Data-center CPUs & GPU
- Networking & storage chips
- 3D-stacked “base dies” (The foundation tiles that let companies glue multiple chips together into monster AI systems)
- Cryptocurrency ASICs (Yes, even those)
- Defense & aerospace (Secure, US-made silicon the Pentagon can actually trust)

ICYMI;
$INTC now has equity interest from the US Government, $NVDA, and $SFTBY SoftBank.
One of these is strategic and for a very important reason: Foundry.
Can you guess which one?
Taiwan’s most important asset, $TSM, is the most obvious geopolitical risk of this China sentiment.
America always has a hedge. And an edge. That is Intel. Protect American interests.

$ES I studied the S&P 500 when the day after Christmas falls on Dec 26.
Since 1979:
• Up 20 of 26 times (76.9%)
• Avg gain ~+0.65%
• When Dec 26 is a Friday: 6 for 6 up
Seasonality matters.
